Estus Flasks. Something like that would be perfect. A limited use(five uses?)full health restore to un-fuck a situation. Because dying to restore health is not ideal. Also, the health drops are not enough. That kind of "git gud" game design can rot in hell.

Estus flasks are very nice. You don't exactly buy them, per se, but it would suck if they just weren't a thing.
That's why I was making the comparison. Lacking a health potion system just feels wrong. Getting healthy between fights isn't exactly hard. Mid big fight/boss fight, not including them really sticks out like a sore thumb. Having consumable health ups would really have made some boss fights less annoying(I'm looking at you Baldur you asshole!).

I guess I have two down this year.

Subnautica
Ni No Kuni 2

That is something?

I'm not sure what I will move to next. Maybe a back log game or something from PS+. That, or Thimbleweed Park while I wait for State of Decay 2.

God of War - Complete, loved it. I have a bunch of post game stuff left to do, I have a feeling I'm going to 100% the game. I've messed with the randomly generated area bit, and haven't touched the arena area. Love this damn game.

Uncharted: Lost Legacy. Liked it.
Good story, good acting, irritating controls.
Maybe it's because I haven't played an Uncharted game in a while or maybe it's because I just finished the nearly flawless God of War but the controls in this game seemed worse than the others. I know they probably aren't but it felt that way. If they do any more Uncharted games I really hope they tighten up the controls.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze! Loved it! Well... the last boss can eat shit. But other than that, enjoyed it! Eventually me and Funky will get all the collectables.

Steins;Gate - finished, for now. I have a couple more endings to go for, but I made it to at least one real conclusion. Loved it.

Yakuza 6 - ps4. The gameplay was fun and I really liked the fighting. There were a lot of repetitive spots, like the roaming street gang fights. The gang turf war was a fun aspect where you send your troops out and you gain xp which can be used to summon more troops to the battle area. I didn't care for the sex mini games - video chat side mission/mini game but you can play a ton of old Sega arcade classics.

Train Valley - Loved.
LEGO City: Undercover
Super enjoyable GTA-like game set in the LEGO City universe. A must try for any LEGO game fan.

Epistory - Loved.
Great typing game along the lines of Typing of the Dead, etc...but with a great art style and way less swearing.
