WeekDAY gaming (10.9.17)- What are YOU still playing?

I wish to thank the nice Canadians for the day off. That's why I'm off today is it not? Hopefully I can find a Canadian family close by and celebrate with them. Looking forward to maple syrup glazed Turkey and yams.

As I search for my Thanksgiving dinner...

What are YOU still playing?

Didn't play much over the weekend but I'll continue with Tomb Raiding when I get the chance.

Also trying to start a new game of Diplomacy.

Played a bunch of Golf Story. Made it to the 7th course, but there's a tournament on the 6th I have to do. I'd assume I'm on the "back 9" of it. Great little game.

I played some boardgames this weekend and a lot of Etrian Odyssey V demo & Golf Story. Packed up and are heading back home soon after some post-turkey turkey soup.

I actually got a few little projects done around the house this weekend, I was able to check off a couple of things from my to do list. A pretty low key weekend all things considered Did a bit of Halloween decorating, got all the kids' costumes, and as a bonus found Puyo Puyo Tetris on clearance for $9 at Target. Gaming this week:

Persona 5 Yeah, I'm back at P5 full force. I'm in mid-September now getting ready to dive into the next palace. I've maxed out a few social links and have made some good progress on a few others. I'm feeling really dumb for putting P5 aside earlier this year, but at least I'm back at it now.

Danganronpa V3 P5 kept me away fro D3 btu I did get in a little bit of time. I'm starting the first trial now, I'm really curious to see how this goes.

Uncharted: Lost Legacy - Platinumed. Finished on Crushing first playthough (so no cheats). Some of the battles where completely bananas but I got through them. Great game, gorgeous on a new OLED 4K TV with HDR.

Next, well I just picked up a Switch so I'm considering Breath of the Wild or may just play Mass Effect: Andromeda on the PS4, we shall see.

Officially out of games to play at the moment since I'm still resisting the pull of Destiny. Hoping Shadow of War or the Overwatch Halloween event finally puts that to rest though.

Hacked my SNES classic, works awesome. Really loving Golf Story as well, such a damn fun game. Will be playing that after some VR coop gaming tonight.

What is added when you hack a SNES classic?

Games! I actually played some. Started Tacoma over the weekend, the game is great. I want more of that game. Today I went back to Dishonored 2, I just felt like playing. I tried the XB1 that wasn't playing game discs and it suddenly decided to work. I am thinking of opening up the XB1 to clean it out. I know there is a lot of dust and cat litter in it. Don't ask about why there is cat litter in my XB1...

Also you can return to the main menu without having to get up and reset the console

I ended up not playing any Danganronpa V3 this weekend, so I need to try to get back to that and start Chapter 2 this week.

As of tomorrow I'll be playing Shadow of War, but today on a lark I went and reinstalled Dishonored. That game is still great.

Aside from that, just Stardew Valley and Golf Story on the Switch. I need to keep playing Metroid: Samus Returns on 3DS, but that's one device too many right now.

You can add any NES, SNES, Genesis, GBA, etc. game to it. Basically anything of the SNES's level or below. You actually CAN add N64 and PS1 games, but most of them don't run well or are too big to even fit on the device. You only have about 200mb of space free on the mini to work with.

It's super easy to do, and it runs the games out of the system's ui.

Work in Wisconsin is going well so far. We may head back tomorrow but more likely Thursday. It's chilly here, with overnight temps in the low 30s. No sign of snow, thankfully. I'm not ready for that.

Unfortunately I didn't have time to finish Tacoma on Sunday, so that's what I'll be playing first when I get back. In the meantime it's work, work, work, followed by a couple of beers and cards with coworkers.

I made it from start to finish through the first class trial in Danganronpa V3. I did not see that coming at all, I love that they completely mess with your expectations. Wolf, that really sucks that it was spoiled for you, that was a great twist so early in the game.

Just played a game of Hearthstone where it looked like I was absolutely destroying the opponent. Then they pulled this ridiculous combo where they copied a minion 6 times and then could literally keep firing fireballs forever at me.

The most obnoxious thing is that the timer appeared to run out on them, but they just kept going and going and going. I don't know how that works. The timer shuts my crap down.
