Jackbox 4 Coming Oct 17

I don't play a ton of multiplayer games nowadays, but I'm excited about Jackbox Party Pack 4.

Quote:
  • Fibbage 3 – The threequel to the outrageous bluffing game boasts totally new question types. (2-8 players)
  • Fibbage: Enough About You – A new game mode where players guess weird facts about each other! (3-8 players)
  • Survive the Internet – Twist your friends’ “online” comments in comical ways in this web-based frame game. (3-8 players)
  • Monster Seeking Monster – A spooky date-a-thon where you message and date fellow monsters with special powers! (3-7 players)
  • Bracketeering – Place smart bets on stupid arguments in this deranged debate match. (3-16 players)
  • Civic Doodle – Improve the town’s murals and one-up your friends in this irreverent art game. (3-8 players)
As with previous Jackbox titles, you can connect to multiplayer sessions via any browser, so most players can connect via smartphones or tablets.

Jackbox 4 will be released on the PS4, XB1, PC, Mac, Switch, 4th Gen Apple TV, Amazon Fire & Nvidia Shield.

Hmmm, interesting. I'll have to see. I excitedly got boxes 2 and 3 after loving the first one, but was a little disappointed in a lot of the games in the later packs.

So psyched for this game. I've been watching the streams as they demo these titles with their fans to test them out and I really like the games they offer here.

I'm in, but I'm skeptical that anything will ever match a group's first time with Drawful.

That's a good way of putting it.

Jackbox peaked with Fibbage and Drawful 2. Now I just hope this new bundle can come somewhere close to that level of greatness.

Well, the new pack has Fibbage 3, which includes a bonus version called Enough About You, in which the players answer questions about themselves and then those become the trivia for the rest of the game.

This pack's drawing game is Civic Doodle, which has two players expanding on a starting squiggle, the rest of the players vote on which version is better, then two other players expand on the winner's drawing, etc. It looks like a fun, collaborative game of escalating absurdity.
