The Shrouded Isle - liked
This one has multiple possible endings, but I got one of them, so I'm counting it, even though I'm not really done yet.

I still have the latter half of the game to work through but I agree. It's a delight.

Was it about as long as the first?

Dust: An Elysian Tail - Pretty good, got very boring near the end. Amazing considering it was almost totally made by one guy.

I think it was a bit bigger. The stats at the end had just over 11 hours of playtime.

Scanner Sombre - Cool little game where you have to use a 'VR' rig to scan your way out of a cave complex. It would be pretty awesome to try this in an actual VR rig.

During my vacation my brother took me to an arcade where the cabinets all had coin buttons. So you could play as long as you want after you paid to get in. So I actually beat some arcade games! And those are:

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Golden Axe

The Simpsons

Those were all the coin-eaters of the day! What a great way to play through them. Did you wear out the "add coin" button?

One time the X-Men machine in our arcade was bugged and kept adding credits to Nightcrawler. I beat that one that day.

On the Simpsons? Damn near. My right hand was numb and my fore arm was hurting like hell by the time the credits rolled.

Really, all of those were ones that I always figured it would be cheaper to buy the whole cabinet instead of pouring money into it.

Steamworld Dig is another one of my favorites!
I'm glad they did that, I may not have ever played it otherwise. It also added a modicum of tension to the game that, I think, made it easier to empathize with the character(s). Gone Home was one of my favorite games that year.

Anyway, on to business.

Destiny 2 if getting through the story counts.
Thoroughly enjoying it though D:OS2 has taken about 99% of my free time.

Divinity: Original Sin 2.
Dumped almost 160 hours into it over the last few weeks and I'm ready to start a new run... as soon as I'm done with Shadow of War and Steam World Dig 2. I think D:OS2 this is going to be my game of the year which is really saying something in a year where 3 of my favorite games had good sequels released (Forza, Shadow of Mordor and Destiny)

Nier: Automata... at least the first 500 endings anyway.
I liked it, it was a fun game for the most part but it got really repetitive towards the end there. Good game but a bit overhyped IMO.

Wolfenstein: Old Blood. Liked it.

Shadow of Mordor, second playthrough,

+ Tacoma (PC) - Loved! From the developers of Gone Home, one of my favorite games of the last several years. I have been anticipating Tacoma since it was announced, and I was not disappointed. The way you experience the story is unique, clever, and made the characters come alive more than the usual audio recordings seen in these sort of games. The story was intriguing and kept me guessing until the very end. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoyed Gone Home or who likes adventure/exploration games in general. I absolutely loved it and will likely play through it again soon.
