Rails? The DAY/END threads don't need no stinking rails, they just meander like a drunk looking for a bench to flop down on~ Gorvi

Nothing too special going on this weekend. It's supposed to be pretty warm so the kids and I will likely hit some parks and get out a bit. When we're not or when they're sleeping, well, I have a few games I'm juggling.....

Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition So I'm getting close to the end now, and as much as the game is kicking my ass, I'm really loving it.

Ys 8: Lacrimosa of Dana I need to find more time for this. So far it's more Ys in the mold of the more recent games. The combat is great, the music is phenomenal, and it's just fun.

Doki Doki Literature Club Tonight, I swear, I'm going to get through it. What I've played so far has been interesting, I just need... more.. .time.

Overwatch I'm sure I'll get in a few matches this weekend, the new capture the flag map is fun.

Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition So despite all expectations, this is actually really good. Right now I'm still in the free portion, but I could actually see myself buying the full game, which has that wonderful SE tax of being a $20 phone game. Still, so far it's getting a lot of things right.

Lifeline: Silent Night I finished up the first Lifeline this week, now I'm on to the next one. It's a text only choice based game, so it's not exactly intensive, I just play it here and there when a notification pops up on my phone that it's ready for another choice and a bit of narrative.

As I said in the weekday thread, I may pick up Dragon Quest Builders for the switch but I will likely also spend some time with Dark Souls 2 and The Witness this weekend.

We're supposed to get a lot of snow this weekend and I'm on call, so hooray. This past week was incredibly busy so I'm enjoying the next few hours that I'm technically off before my phone is back on for work.

While I'm dealing with whatever work throws at me, I'm going to also be playing:

Subnautica (PC) - I'm very close to being able to build a habitat. Woo.

Monster Hunter World (PS4) - I'm still scared of the Anjanath so I'm going to try to conquer that fear this weekend. I also have to hunt some Puki-Pukis as I haven't fought them in ages.

Gonna try and finish Shadow of the Colossus this weekend. Such a great game. No complaints so far.

That and watch the winter Olympics with the wife.

How are the controls in this version? I liked the janky, flaily feel of the original (and remake) but am curious about how things feel with them having build this version from the ground up.

Oh yeah, Friday is new thread day. I'll be playing more Odyssey when I get the chance. Also would love to get more MarioKart in with Coggers.

I've got a rudimentary base going in Subnautica. Though I also just fixed the leaks on the Aurora, so at least now I'll have Leviathan class predators to deal with now. Wahoo!

I just built a Seamoth and have gone on walkabout. I really should get back to my lifepod & heal up.

Honestly this feels like a PS2 game. So I'd say it's the same except they remapped the buttons?

I've started to make a habitat in Subnautica. Woo!

Also met the Reaper leviathan and my sub got destroyed, so I'm restarting from an earlier save and NOT tempting fate.

I've managed to avoid those up until now, not looking forward to crossing their path though.

I did survive it eating my sub and almost managed to scan it and then I got up close & personal with its digestive tract.

I need to find a good spot to gather lead.

Before your little oral history of Albuquerque, the only thing I knew about the city was from Bugs Bunny referencing it now and then
