I caught the case of the new-and-shiny and forgot about my switch when I got my One X. Need to catch up and play some Mario Odyssey, I guess?

I played a ton of Mario + Rabbids, but my playthrough lost steam around the 4th area unlock. I'll probably end up finishing it during the Christmas holiday.

Pro-tip: Luigi is the secret weapon of the team. When optimally equipped, his snipe with overwatch wreck.

Luigi is secretly the best Mario bro. Completely ruthless. If he'd been the main character from day one Bowser would be dead by now.

Yeah that motorcycle looks fucking rad and I want it post haste.

Also enjoying Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It took me a while to get into the swing of it and I still get put off occasionally by the fact that the maps are so open that sometimes a level 80 mob just one-hits your whole party, but there's basically no death penalty so it's not a huge deal.

Their world design is still just superb, though. Running around on the backs of gods just doesn't lose its appeal.

Seeing as Bayo 2 wouldn't have happened at all without Nintendo, I can't be too mad about them locking it down as exclusive, especially since it was an absolutely gorgeous and rock solid 60FPS Wii U title.

Assuming they put the same love and care into Bayo 3, I'm fine with it being exclusive to Switch.

Happy we are getting a third and now all three will be available on one platform.

Tearing my way through Mr. Shifty. It is no Hotline Miami but I am enjoying it.

I am thinking Floor Kids might make for an awesome one on one game, but I doubt I will ever find anyone who plays it and wants to battle locally...

Yeah, I started, then was disheartened when after doing the 4 one-hit missions, the game says "LOL-sike! Do all these random things first!".

Yeah it turns out the laundry list to get that motorcyle is pretty long.

On the plus side, it did get me back into the swing of completing shrines. I probably want to get through the Trials of the Sword DLC first (which in turn means getting more hearts before I try that), and then come back to this one.

I am definitely not worthy yet. I also need to go retry the Trial of the Sword. I love the depth of this game's content, and am glad they kept to the old Nintendo way of making the extra-credit stuff REALLY difficult to unlock.

Tip for sword trials: while defense/offense boosts do not persist when transported to the dungeon, temporary bonus hearts do carry over.

I got through the beginner trials last night without much trouble, but then I failed the medium trials a couple of times.

The final trials, I expect, will take some doing.

I received my 8bitdo SF30 Pro today and it is pretty great!

Just finished Mr. Shifty. It was a definite recommend before the last couple of levels, but man those last levels sucked. Crashed on me like 4 times during my playthrough!

I bought Bayonetta 2 on Wii U last year but haven't played it yet. Unfortunately I missed the dual pack. I may rebuy it on the Switch instead, depending on price and timing.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 came in the mail while I was on vacation. I'm looking forward to checking that out.

An "Ultimate Edition" of Steamworld Heist is coming to the Switch on December 28th. I'm tempted to pick it up but I already have the game on 3DS and Wii U. It's a fantastic game - highly recommended to anyone who hasn't played it yet.

Several other ports were also announced for the Switch recently, including Wasteland 2, Outlast 1 & 2, a bunch of Capcom stuff, and more. There's a lot coming in 2018 and we've only scratched the surface.

That's a fact. I wish I could take Mario off the team. Also I'm not sure why you can't add Peach and Luigi on the same team.

I'm on world 4 but I'm determined to wrap it up before moving on to something else. Zelda, XBC2, or Mario. Just don't know yet.
