I'm still curious about others. Wish I could find a list.

I don't know if this is cheeky TK humor or not. It would work as a poll though in either case

I have craved to play AC Oranges the last two nights but work has been brutal. Brutal at work typically is punches to the kidneys (rabbit punches?) but these past two days, it is more akin to pummeling from a flurry of punches to the head while stuck in a corner. I thought I was going to get myself arrested the other night due to being assertive about one of my individuals needing to go to crisis. Yes Mr. Cop, I have a pony tail, I look like some old hippy from a Cheech and Chong movie but I will stare you down and not back down no matter how much you subtly threaten me that the transport shouldn't happen. I have no patience for anyone who stands in the way of care and/or treatment for my individuals.

Last night I randomly went back to the God of War game I got free on PSN. I was having a pretty good time with it.

I played the new dungeon run thing in Hearthstone a few times, and it's been pretty fun. I initially thought that maybe I wouldn't play it that much since you don't get any rewards beyond the initial quests, but I think I might actually play it a lot since I would like to beat it with all the classes. It doesn't seem that hard to make it to the final bosses, but all of the ones I faced so far were completely insane and destroyed me.

On the other hand, I opened 15-20 packs between the free ones given out and ones I bought with saved gold, and I didn't get anything good. So my excitement about the new cards is kinda gone already since I don't think I can build any new decks. I barely have enough dust to craft one legendary, so I'll have to wait to see what is actually good. I crafted a few things last expansion that I later regretted.

I've been playing nothing but FFXIV this week, catching up on the endgame and 4.1 content. I'm so happy Bard is fun again.

Shadowhand is out. Woo!

Well, I'm off to go to my first MeetUp meet up tonight. It's boardgame night and I'm feeling all right!

Hopefully I don't die making new friends.

I'm opening up all my packs right now. We'll see how I feel after that's done.

So yesterday I traded in my old PS4 for some Nintendo money cards. The guys at EB were nice enough to give me credit for it being a 1TB PS4 because I upgraded it. Got two $99 (WTF?) Nintendo cards for it, and used them to buy Fire Emblem Warriors and Xenoblade 2.

In XCOM news:

[spoiler=tapatalk]

Mission Report: Operation Falling Smoke - SCUMMY (Flawless) MISSION!

Summary: This was an attack on a Chosen stronghold, specifically that of the Assassin. I freely admit I had catastrophic wipes on this mission 3 times, and ended up save scumming until things went better. Ironically, even though I was just aiming for "no deaths", I didn't realize that all the hits I was taking (from Spectres and Codexes) were only knockout blows, and didn't count as wounds. Go figure.

This is a fairly involved mission. After invading an Advent base, opposition included 4 Codexes (gah), 5 Spectres (double gah), our first encounter with Chrysalids (ugh) and Andromedans (yipe). Eventually you come upon a teleportation gate to the boss chamber. The fight (this time) involved spamming Battle Scanners to reveal the cloaked Assassin, nuking her until she disappeared to heal, blowing up her healing sarcophagus, and then finally finishing her off when she reappeared.

Soldiers on Operation:
Cap. TheKeck (Sharpshooter) - Shaken 1 day (?)
Maj. Spigot (Specialist) - Tired 9 days, Promoted
Maj. Purple Santa (Specialist) - Tired 10 days, Promoted
Maj. Gorvi (Ranger) - Tired 9 days, Promoted
Cap. Dav Slinker (Grenadier) - Tired 9 days, Promoted
Lt. Pale Ale (Grenadier) - Tied 7 days, Promoted

Mission Report: Operation Rotting Priest

Summary: Hack Workstation mission. This one went poorly, my first full KIA and 3 soldiers wounded. Shows what I get for taking a couple rookies, no Grenadiers, and no Specialists.

Soldiers On Operation:
Sqd. NAMELESS Jang (Sharpshooter) - KIA
Cap. Outrider (Reaper) - AOK
Lt. Zagrash (Ranger) - AOK
Cap. Ravenlock (Ranger) - AOK
Cap. Young Al Capone (Sharpshooter) - Wounded, 10 days
Aco. NAMELESS Vandyke (Psi Op) - Wounded, 7 days
[spoiler]

Still looking for recruits!

Whoa, I had a crazy dungeon run in Hearthstone which led to my first victory.

My first bit of luck was running into an enemy which just had 7 0/8 treasure chests and the game ends on turn 5. Turn 1, I cast a 1 mana 2/1 with poisonous, so basically I got to kill a treasure chest each turn. I also used assassinate on turn 5 to kill a chest, so I got to add 6 of the 7 treasures to my deck.

In a later battle, I used one of the treasures to add my deck to the opponents and then we split the cards. Well, that was dumb. He got all my good treasures, including something that let him steal 3 cards from my hand, including the awesome treasures I already had in hand. And then I had ultimate luck. He used a treasure which cast a 10 damage pyroblast repeatedly until one of us died. So basically a coin flip besides the 1 minion that was on the board and died along the way. And it hit the enemy 5 or 6 times and me only once, so crazy odds.

And then the final boss was a dragon with a bunch of treasure chests, and he does more damage based on how many chests are gone. I got that treasure that stole cards from his hand in my opening hand, so I used it on turn 1 and kinda crippled his early game. I also didn't kill any of the chests for a long time, so he wasn't doing any damage. Eventually I got a weapon with poison on it and that could attack 4 times per turn plus a minion that made it so I didn't lose durability on my turn. So I could kill off most of the minions he played while my minions attacked his face. And then to finish it all off, I cleared the entire board with vanish, and then used a treasure that cast 3 8 damage fireballs with random targets that all went to his face since there wasn't anything else to hit.

So I had some crazy luck in a few different games, and it was really fun. I wish I had it recorded. Now I just need to finish the dungeon run with the 8 other classes, but I think it might be a bit harder with the rest of them. I guess I just have to keep trying until I get some awesome decks and more luck.

Thanks! I'm not sure if I got anything very good. Replenished my dust a bit which I had taken down to pretty much nothing.

I'm really hoping for a full reveal at the PSX event tonight. I need to know more now.
