I feel so guilty for laughing at that because I think it's really terrible.

The Internet sure is fast.

My girlfriend said, "Is it wrong that I feel more sad for losing Billy Mays than Michael Jackson?" I told her no.

No amount of Oxi-Clean can remove the stain of death! Peace out, homie! You had a good run.

That's how I feel. I never was a huge Jackson fan, but Billy Mays just seemed like such a nice guy and always entertaining.

The wife and I shared the same exchange today.
Pitchmen is an awesome show. Too bad for Billy and his family

Holy shit, enough with the deaths already.

I thought for sure this was another one of those "X fell off a cliff in New Zealand" bullshit posts. Quick trot to CNN confirmed it though. I too watched Pitchmen, and I honestly hate the shit out of Sullivan. Mays was the only reason I watched it. RIP Billy.

I just downloaded this wallpaper yesterday, but now it doesn't seem as funny anymore.

My mom actually called to tell me about this earlier. I thought I was the only one who watched Pitchmen, but I'm glad to see other people liked it too. He came across as a really nice, genuine guy. Really, really sad.

I think the show was becoming something of a hit, which makes this all the more sad. Wish he could have been around to enjoy having such a successful show. I wonder where he may have taken his career.

Holy shit this is REAL!? My friend texted me this today and I just ignored it because I just saw him on Conan and figured it was part of those new rumors like Jeff Goldblum.

When I first saw the title I thought "Oh no not Billy Mays!" Not to shit on Michael but when I saw that headline, it was more like, "Yeah ok, bummer."

I think it maybe a matter of what have you done lately. One had a hit show and the other has been hiding around the world after a child sexual harrassment lawsuit. <shrug>

I was fine until you brought Bauhaus into it. Now I'm shedding a tear.

I think it's a natural reaction.

I said to my girl "Billy was just more likeable than MJ"
Her: "And Fuzzy"

So there you have it.

I just became extra-sad as I remembered that Billy's dad is still alive (he appeared on Pitchmen, showing off his idea for a rotating sunbathing chair). Poor old dude...

Though, to be fair, that shirt seemed like a shitty fucking product.
