WWDC 09 - iPhone updates?

Apple's WWDC keynote starts in about an hour and 15 min. (1:00PM eastern, 10:00AM pacific.) Seems like everyone's expecting them to announce a new iPhone. I'm hoping we'll see a new iPod Touch announced.

Since it's a developer's conference, they're sure to talk about the upcoming Snow Leopard version of OS X. And rumors say there may be some notebook updates, as well.

So we will get something on the iPod Touch... whether it's new hardware or OS/functionality additions.

New 15" MacBook Pro. Has SD card slot, better screen, new longer-lasting non-removable battery. Max 8GB RAM, 3.06 dual core, 500GB HDD or 256GB SSD. Starts at $1699. Graphics are 9400M or 9600M GT+9400M (switches between onboard and dedicated, I assume?).

Whew! Looks like I dodged a bullet. He mentions a new 15-inch MBP and I just bought mine two weeks ago. Luckily, I don't need the battery from the 17-inch and I happen to like my express card slot. No need to trade it in for an SD card slot.

Only 17" has expresscard, I guess.

Cuts down install size by about 6GB (using file compression). Supposed to install faster. Open JPGs and PDFs faster.

Only Apple, with it's user base, could "announce" MMS two years into a phone's life in this day and age and not have people laugh them off the stage.
