I have high hopes for this. I enjoyed the first one. Its disapointing they went with the same idea as the first one, "make it so it'll play on even crap systems" because one of the things that held the first one back was the graphics. They didn't have to make it like Crysis, but they also didn't have to make it run on junk laptop integrated GPU chips either...

Well it seems like they're very interested in scaling it so that if you have a rockin system, it will rock, and if you don't, you can still play.

I want this game so incredibly bad I can taste it. Thanks a lot for the footage.

Scott, you have to go back to their booth and convince them that I am either friend or family and to let me in the closed beta, I'll even marry one of their sisters (if she's hot)... the future of the galaxy depends on it!

I could understand where you are coming if we hadn't just seen 4min of beautiful gameplay. Considering how good it look (and it looks damn good even at Utube quality) I don't see why you give a shit that it scales as well as it does.

I neeeeeeeeed this game!

From what I was told, the beta is only in "friends & family" testing at the moment.

I don't know much about this, but from the footage it looks kind of like a Freelancer MMO. If that is indeed what it is, I'm all for it.
