[E3 09] Scott's Day 1 Report (Jumpgate/Harmonix)

This is the section about his time with Jumpgate Evolution and him having to skip Harmonix and The Beatles Rock Band. The Sony Conference went late as you all know and by the end it had bumped into both meetings Scott had. With his previous intro, he was shocked by how busy the Convention Center was in comparison to last year.

Here is that section:

In the short amount of time I had, I went to Jumpgate Evolution. Look, Rock Band is Rock Band is Rock Band. This new one just happens to focus on the Beatles. Besides, it's all over the place, so I doubt you'll have any trouble finding out anything you want to know. Jumpgate Evolution is not so highly publicized. So it got what little time I had left. I can't tell you what was told to me. It was very rushed, and was competing for sound sitting next to the FATAL1TY booth or whoever that guy is (he's loud, that's for sure). Even the Jumpgate guys kept rolling their eyes when just trying to talk to us about their game. Not only that, but I was interrupting someone else's demo time. I took some video, exchanged cards, and grabbed some press assets (USB dogtags...it's pretty nice).

He should have the video up later. His internet connection in the hotel was quite slow yesterday I guess. He is going to attempt to do it in one of the media rooms at the Convention Center, but who knows if he'll find time to do so or not

Even with the delay I have high hopes for this. I signed up for bate a long time ago, still waiting to get in :P

Jumpgate is probably my most anticipated game coming out right now. Really hoping I get into the beta.
