[E3 09] Lego Harry Potter, Books 1-4 Trailer

This Lego thing is starting to get out of hand. First Star Wars, then Batman and Indiana Jones. Now, Lego Harry Potter, set for release in 2010. It looks pretty cool - Lego Dumbledore in particular - and I have a suspicion it will be a monster hit.

Keep em coming I say.

My wife and I have had a blast with the previous entries. Co-op with no penalties for failure means two people with mixed skill levels can still enjoy playing together. I've tried so many co-op games that my wife simply can't play. She gave up on Super Mario 3 after losing all of her lives without beating a single level. Games like this are about the only way we can co-op without picking titles that are too ridiculously easy for me so she can actually play it. I've been gaming my entire life, she started a couple years ago.

The LEGO games are cool, but I think the gameplay itself is getting stale. The Batman one had the additional ability to play as the villains, so that was a change of pace. I like the humor in them still and will play these.

They certainly are moneymakers for Traveller's Tale and whatever publisher each game is tied to.

Yes, it is.

But we aren't the intended audience (age group) either. I'll take it for what it is. A fun kid's game that adults can still enjoy. They aren't going to make them more complicated.
