[E3 09] Metal Gear Solid: Rising Announced for the 360 and PS3
![]() Raiden's back and more metal-y then ever! The most beloved character from the long running action/stealth franchise is returning to star in his very own game, Metal Gear Solid: Rising. Initially thought to be an Xbox exclusive, our very own Violent has the Twitter scoop that says otherwise. It would appear that both versions are to release simultaneously. Either way, even more MGS is on the way. Do you think this means we won't see a 360 port of MGS4? Last edited by Bandango; 06-02-2009 at 07:42 PM.. |

Yeah that's kind of what I'm wondering. If they're gonna keep on churning out new MGS is it wise of them to spend all those resources on porting a massive game like MGS4?

While it does not appear to be an Xbox 360 exclusive, it is surprising to see it possibly coming out on PC.

"The most beloved" was very tongue in cheek wasn't it?
I hope.

I still want to know what the hell this has to do with Big Boss.
And I haven't even played the damn games! |

Do yourself a favor and play Metal Gear Solid 3. It's the first one chronologically and it will explain everything you need to know. Oh, how I envy those who haven't played that one.

Is anyone else bugged by the metal jaw? I mean, the poor fool would be drooling all over himself. Otherwise a cool picture, but that is bugging the shit out of me. Like noise in space, it is something I'm finding it hard to get past.

Haha yeah, kind sticks out like a sore thumb. Btw, what did you think of the new Star Trek's sporadic use of noise in space?

PCSX2 is your friend. You will of course have to own the original disc. Of course.

I'm sure I have a friend I can borrow a disc from. I can set it right in front of the monitor.

Wow Raiden has been through hell. He only has his upper skull, spine and eyes, everything else is artifical fiber made from em cells in his DNA. Wouldn't it have been cheaper to find another recruit?
