Forum or Sub-Forum Redo

OK, I think some people were confused with the other vote. The primary reason we are doing this vote is:

1. If it is a sub-forum and a P&R post happens to be the last one posted chronologically it will show up as the last thread in the main forum list under The Lounge's area. It does not say whether the post is actually in The Lounge or in P&R and the title of the thread may be misleading into a P&R topic being a Lounge topic (if you can understand my meaning) or vice versa. This would affect those that aren't interested in going into P&R and happen to hit the link and find themselves in the P&R sub-forum

2. As a main forum it would be down in the area where The Lounge, Creative Arts, etc. is...probably above Maintenance Bay is where it will be put. So, it goes farther down the line, but it would make The Lounge and P&R more separate.

If you have any more questions, please ask. The reason we brought this vote up is because we wanted your input on things and not just have us make the decision without consultation of the community. The vote is re-opened.

I never click on forum posts anyway, because it doesn't take you to the last page.

Though, I would rather vote for not having one. People can discuss politics somewhere else. You know what happened at that other place. The hate and trolling spilled all over the rest of the forums.

UPDATE: I have made the necessary changes to the poll thanks to a fellow moderator letting me know the option was there. So, I added one to the standard and took one away from the sub-forum.

Actually if you hit the right arrow to the right of the thread name it will take you to the last post.

And yes, we've heard the arguments about not having a P&R forum, however I feel we've got a happy medium here where people that don't want to participate in them don't have to (much like if you don't want to participate in the Page, Song forum, Creative Arts forum, etc.). We were put into a corner with PIRI falling into whatever it has fallen into, but as I said I think we've hit a happy medium and I have faith that Voodoo will take necessary steps should he see P&R feelings spill out into the regular forum.

Standard forums are easier to avoid. Change it that way so I don't accidently stumble into one of those yawners.

I've gone ahead and removed P&R access from: iHap, Ikkir and Troggles. Those that don't want to visit the P&R area at all, I'm making your wish come true. And those that have felt the need to troll in P&R since the formation of P&R, I've removed their access as well.

One thought: you know, we don't have to label it "Politics & Religion." If people are concerned that it might drive new folks away to see that there's a P&R forum, we could just call it "Really Gay Shit" or something. That way, we ensure that only two kinds of people show up:
1. Folks who actually sought P&R out
2. Flaming Liberace-grade homosexuals

There were 64 votes before I left work, now there are 70. There is always a chance of it flipping. If there is a long period of no activity, the majority choice would most likely be taken.

Closing this poll and thread. There hasn't been any shortening of the difference in a few days. As you can see, it is now its own forum and retitled "P&R Arena" as some had asked for.
