Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier Announced [PSP/PS2]

Sony has announced that the next Jak & Daxter game will debut simultaneously on both the PSP and PS2 this fall.

Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier will pick up from the end of the original J&D trilogy. The heroes of the game are still trying to save their world from the environmental ravages of Dark Eco. This time they have to protect their friend Kiera as she embarks on a quest to become a Sage, possibly the only way to save their world.

Is it developed by Naughty Dog, Ready at Dawn, or other?

That is my only concern.

High Impact games is developing it. It's an Insomniac splinter-group, they did Size Matter and Secret Agent Clank.

I loved the J&D trilogy, so its the PS2 version on the PS3 for me. Now how about a next gen Jak game...the current gen has been sorely lacking in good platformers so far.

I thought this was just an aprils fools' story when I saw it yesterday, the screens look like shit, even compared to Daxter on the PSP.

I'll be very happy to grab this, I loved the series. The only game I never played was that racing game they made (Jak X), which is odd because I loved CTR on the PS1. The second half of this year is freakin' loaded for the PSP.

I may check out the PSP version since my PS2 DRE's every time I put a game in and my PS3 doesn't play PS2 games.
