For some reason, none of the DS9 women especially did anything for me. I liked them fine, and Major Kira was one of my favorite characters. But I never exactly wanted a poster of any of them.

That movie has a split love/hate relationship with everyone I know. Some people want to savagely beat the movie to death in an alley and steal its heart, others want to give it a stack of hookers and fine cheeses.

Personally, I liked it, too.

Was it the Director's Cut? I saw the original, hated it, a buddy convinced me to watch the DC and I loved it.

I DID see the DC of Robin hood. Jezuz thats bad. The theatre cut is pretty spot on and flows well. The DC was...was...almost unwatchable and ruined 3 really good plotpoints. Ya I said Robin Hood and plotpoints in the same post

Absolutely no actual submarines in this film. It's basically a coming of age tale written / directed by Richard Ayoade of I.T. Crowd fame, channelling Wes Anderson. Charming, funny and nostalgic in equal doses. Don't let this superb British indie flick pass under your sonar!
