The pilot of Ducktales centered around a city of gold - The Treasures Of The Golden Suns - but this was WAY before Ducktales.

Woooow. There's a show I never thought would've been released on DVD. I remember it fondly and a couple years ago I watched the first episode at the Museum of Television here in NYC.

The only disappointing thing is that the story arc never completed. The show was canceled before that could happen.

Yea, D&D is already out (I have it, and it's a very nice set). I had never watched the show until I bought it (which was two years ago or so), but I really like it.

Anyway, I've never seen Mysterious Cities of Gold, but I know it's a fan favorite that people have been wanting on disc for a long time, so I'm happy about that. Plus, I love the theme song!

Technically Ducktales was based on Carl Barks' Uncle Scrooge comics which predate either show.

Out of curiosity I checked...nope. They do have The Little Prince DVD set...I can't remember it very well anymore though, I'm not sure if it would still be any good. I Did find Count Duckula and David the Gnome though. My inner-child is tempting me to buy all of this shit and pretend it's the mid-80's again.

And how the shit did I miss this!?
