...I think I remember this. I could be mistaking this with a Ducktales episodic arc, but I don't think so.

I just read the synopsis on Wikipedia. I was right, I've seen it.

Oh hell yeah! I haven't seen this show in more than 20 years. Nice find, Psyko.

Woooow. There's a show I never thought would've been released on DVD. I remember it fondly and a couple years ago I watched the first episode at the Museum of Television here in NYC.
The only disappointing thing is that the story arc never completed. The show was canceled before that could happen. |

Yay vintage cartoons, I can still hear the theme song to this one when I see the case art. I remember this show coming on at like 5am.
And in other animated news: Hells to the YEAH! |

Anyway, I've never seen Mysterious Cities of Gold, but I know it's a fan favorite that people have been wanting on disc for a long time, so I'm happy about that. Plus, I love the theme song! |

Technically Ducktales was based on Carl Barks' Uncle Scrooge comics which predate either show.

No fucking way...I feel like a little kid again.
What's next? Today's Special and Pinwheel on DVD? My goddamned brain would explode. Out of curiosity I checked...nope. They do have The Little Prince DVD set...I can't remember it very well anymore though, I'm not sure if it would still be any good. I Did find Count Duckula and David the Gnome though. My inner-child is tempting me to buy all of this shit and pretend it's the mid-80's again. And how the shit did I miss this!?
