Donation Drive for fits' PS3

Would anyone else be willing to donate to this cause? If so, I definitely think we should get it organized! After all the hard work he did for us all at Evil Avatar (and considering he never received any reimbursement for it), I think he deserves it. (And maybe we can even get it done in time for Little Big Planet.)

So, what do you guys think?

Don't worry, I took them as business expenses for the other site I write for that I get a nominal fee for.

I think it's a great idea and considering how he will probably be doing reviews like he did on EvAv I would think owning a PS3 would be a work related necessity(and a write off).

i'd be happy to pitch in, but after being spammed for donatiosn on a weekly basis after i was IP banned for the lemon party meltdown, i'm kinda leary about any sort of donation drives..

I meant a write off for him, I don't think we could write it off unless CoG set up some kind of official charity drive and I have no clue how that is done.

We're gonna do this, though. I feel the need to donate money to the site, even if it's in a roundabout way. And fits is about as roundabout as you can get!

While I really appreciate the sentiment, this is a tough one for me. I mean, this site isn't just about one person, plus there are literally hundreds of other 'causes' more worthy of your time and money (your local animal shelter, for example, or rape crisis center).

I'm sure we can handle both if need be and given the way things have gone for you these past couple years I think you need this (not necessarily the PS3 itself but just something good and uplifting, the PS3 is just a bonus) just as much as you deserve this. I'm pretty sure we have enough members willing to donate so individually it won't be a big deal at all but together (insert cheesy motivational saying here.)
