I thought that Biden was absolutely tearing her apart in the beginning but she improved and toward the end I thought she had done just fine. She seemed to losen up a bit and looked less uncomfortable. Overall though, I think they both accomplished what they needed to.

LMAO! If you watch Couric right around the 35 second mark, you can see her glance up at the camera with that "please god, tell me you're getting this" look in her eyes.. so hilarious.

The debate was kind of boring. Palin said all sorts of things that I would have jumped on and shit given half a chance, and Biden kinda passed them all up. He looked more than a bit nervous, though. And both of them also looked really sketchy -- Palin moreso, because in addition to the general "I'm a lying politician" look I picked up from both, there was a really weird fervor that came into her eyes every time she said "America." The difference between patriotism and brainwashing is not subtle.

Speaking of crying, I thought it was very telling that Biden was choked up at one point. Didn't stop Palin going after him like a rabid pitbull with lpstick and designer glasses, though.

Biden will not take any shit.
Palin does not like people, she never once looked away from the camera.
No one gives a damn about the gays even so far as to say the fed has no authority over marriage except full faith and credit.

Yeah, that conversation seemed really awkward to me. It was also odd when Palin started blathering about her family/friends network at that point.

Palin is not only inexperienced (that's forgivable, I think... I'm voting Obama), but more importantly she is appallingly uninformed.

If you are running for the second highest position in the nation, you should know some Supreme Court rulings you disagree with. You should know what the Bush Doctrine is. You should be able to name your primary news sources. I mean, if I tell you I get all my news from Huffington Post, that tells you something. If I say I watch Fox News, that tells you something else. The fact that this woman repeatedly fails to answer substantive questions that are directly related to the office she is running for is completely unforgivable.

I mean the bailout question took the cake. My niece is 4 and probably could of spoke better about the bailout. Seriously, the kid can repeat stuff she her's just once like she came up with it on her own. Point is it's all that's been on the news, in the papers, and so forth. "It's about job creation."
