Ghostbusters - Atari Live Trailer

From Atari comes the first trailer for "Ghostbusters: The Video Game" set to be released this Summer.

The trailer really invokes a feeling of nostalgia and totally sets the tone we're all familiar with from the previous films helped, no doubt, by all the main actors voicing their respective characters. Hell, even Slimer is accurately represented.

I know. Just something very...nostalgic when you hear their voices, but see the faces of how they looked back then, rather than now.

That was pretty good, let's hope it translates into some fun gameplay and an interesting plot.

Well, I still want 4 player co-op, would love to have that announcement come down the pipe, but if I remember right, it's only single player.

As much as I'd like another movie, it just wouldn't be the same with the way the actors have aged over time. It's like what they did with Indy.

I prefer this to giving me a new movie.

It is for the writer's as well. They consider this to be the 3rd film in the series. Even though....you know....it's a game.

Man, at least Murray still has the fire in his eyes. Watching Indiana Jones and the Colostomy Bag of Doom was a little sad- Indy just seemed confused and lost.

And while Akroyd's size doesn't surprise me, I just can't believe how large Harold Ramis is, compared to how skinny he used to be. Still, Knocked Up proved to me that the guy still has some funny in him.

Their talk of working with Apatow and his crew of actors could work for me, if they respect the original and don't make it a grossout/fart-joke fest. Just have the old guys train the young ones and tell a great, supernatural story.

Nah, not possible. I'll be getting this game on day 1, barring any horrific previews between now and then. And by "horrific", I mean HORRIFIC!
