Season 6, Episode 14
We're at our worst at the following link.
There's nothing much to say about this episode. If you're up to speed on news and happenings around the world, then this is sadly out of date. But it's funny a little bit, and it's long, so we evidently had a lot on our minds, or the listeners had a lot on theirs. I can also promise (or apologize for) another round of backward-looking 90's worship from a group too old to care enough about what the kids are getting into. We're hoping this will drop off soon with the arrival of fresh new games. Of course, if those games suck (which they already do) then we'll go right back to yammering about 1998.

I remember the conversation in the pub, but I have no recollection of sending that e-mail which scares me a little. Anyway the more I think about it the more I realise that goddamn that was a great time to be a gamer. I remember setting up two TV's and playstations side by side and doing speed runs of Resident Evil 2 with my friend with no saves allowed. Good times

Hey people,
I was browsing and I thought I would pop in and see what is going on. :P //### Oh I forgot, just in case this gets read out over the air and you want to cut it down here is a 'quick' summary; - Were all waiting for the new episode like a crack addict. - I love a new app on my phone called BeyondPodcast. - I have started re-listening from Ep6 03.09.07 (as you Americans have the date :P). - Tweeted picture of the cables were from an Amiga. - I blab about my P.C. - I ask about the folding@home project and anything else like it out there. - Bring to light how long my post is and that's it. ###// Quote:
Anyway because of this 'light content' period I decided to go all the way back and listen in order again. Also I think it is also due to this new podcast downloader/player I got for my phone called BeyondPodcast currently using the lite version and it is great. You can schedule for when it searches & downloads, is tied to the rss feed (I think, I was sure but now that I am putting this to words I get a bit hesitant) it picked up your episodes starting from Ep6 03-09-07 and I can't remember if this includes the old.ingamechat stuff or not. Oh I haven't went over the best part and the reason for my love of this, whether (I looked at that word for at least 5 min to make sure it was right :P) your streaming the podcast or you have downloaded it KEEPS THE PLACE WHERE YOU STOPPED, sorry for getting excited but I still can't get over how much that bothered me before on nearly all forms of playback and now its fixed. In regards to my Tweeted picture on Season 6 Epsiode 15 (anyone looking for it = LINK) it was the cables for an Amiga I think the 1200. Still have everything for it apart from the machine itself, it must be in a box somewhere. BTW just to let you know the move went very well, been in university for 3 months now and it is definitely change in how to learn. Doing BSc/Eng Hons Computer Game Development and yea in Year 1 a bit late to the game at 23 but programming is fun for me so I thought I might as well. :3 In regards to my P.C. build got a good bit done the next thing I need to but is a graphics card and at the latest I should be able to get one in January, budget for this is approx £200 which will get me a low/average GTX660. Then throw a load of cheap RAM into the system until I get more money again to get some high GB single strips. Oh your looking for more P.C. stats ok I'll share (with blatant disregard to the silence): Computer Name: MilleniumFalcon (becasue Girlfriends is the DeathStar thats why) RAM: 1 Kingston 4GB DDR3 1333MHz (Cheapo!!) Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K CPU @ 3.4GHz OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit Main HardDrive: Kingston 120GB SSD 2.5"SATA-III Motherboard: Asus P8Z68-V PRO Z68 Socket 1155 Case: BitFenix Shinobi USB3.0 Cooling: Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro rev 2 Socket 1155 And yes havent made the leap becasue of OcUK 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter Planned Graphics Card: Gigabyte GTX 660 OC 2GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E for £171.58 Oh another thing, do you guys still have the folding@home thing still running. I heard it was on your PS3 in 2007 I think. Anyway does anyone know of more programmes like this that work on both consoles and the P.C.? Jeese I think I will leave it there because I am currently running a backup of the P.C and this post is going a bit long. Anyway to all presenters, readers and listeners of IGC, Best wishes, Moltile

I want to say there might be another in the hopper. James does the editing and since he's working the grueling schedule of stage work right now, I don't know how soon we'll see it uploaded.
