So what's the plan for Coggers? Are we going to keep an instance of this mode up on the server, or is that possible? If not, are we going to regularly meet up for a Mann Up mode? At first I wanted to complain about the $1 tickets, but considering I blew thirty dollars at an arcade two weekends ago, on machines that take my money even when I lose, I think it's actually a pretty good deal.

You DO NOT have to pay money to play Mann vs Machine mode, and you'll continue getting random drops as normal. This is just an additional way to earn cosmetic items.

That ship sailed a long time ago. TF2 has already proven that PC gamers are more than willing to spend plenty of money on cosmetic items. It's pretty much the reason TF2 is now free to play, as they make enough money selling hats to just give the game away.

I actually like the idea that you're paying for the right to play "for real" on the official server and win a trophy--only after beating a full mission. There's a lot more sense of accomplishment associated with that, and the dollar doesn't go away until you earn something.

Yeah. I don't like buying keys because of the chance you'll get nothing worthwhile for $2.49, but $.99 for an eventual guaranteed rare is much more enticing.

Got a few rounds of this in this morning - pub groups are pretty bad at this, and its surprisingly buggy - you can't send invites to friends in the middle of a match, for one thing.

It REAAAALLLYYY needs to scale the difficulty based on how many players you have, too. Its no fun to play for 30 minutes, have some idiot DC, and then you're just done, because you can't finish these suckers without the full 6 people.
