I'm wanting to play through Darksiders again, but it'll have to wait. Softball playoffs are this weekend and my team's the one to beat.

I'm trying to make it through the entire series before 3 and Liberation come out. I think I'll probably make it.

That being said, the Wasteland is calling me. 65 hours spent there so far and I still need to finish the main storyline and do all 4 DLC stories. If I could just stop myself from exploring every inch of the map....... Damn it, OK, I'm going back to New Vegas.

Why am I not surprised that you play softball?

This weekend is all about me, a tent, and the woods. Have a great weekend, everyone!

I'll be sure to keep an eye out for Gen ABXY and his quartet of Sapphic ladies.

Can you tell I'm just killing time at work this morning? I'm leaving in an hour and a half and don't want to do anything productive if I can help it

Ok. Time to get serious.

Congrats, Purps & ADD!

In other good news, we've put an offer in on a house and after some back and forth, they've accepted our offer (I just cut a cheque for $5000 for a deposit this morning... gulp!)

We also had a person coming in today to have a second showing of our house, which is a good sign. They saw it the other day when it was still looking like a bomb went off and came back anyway. I'm hoping that we'll have an offer for our place soon so that we can get everything locked in. If our house does sell over the weekend, that would be awesome since that would give us a break on painting/fixing drywall holes, etc. next week when the kids are at grandma & grandpa's. We could actually do things in the evening that didn't revolve around the kids! *gasp*

Update! Just got a message that an offer is coming in on my house... woo! No idea if it'll be a low-ball or acceptable or if we'll just laugh at them, but this is a good sign. It's not even technically listed yet, so yay!

On the game front, I'll be away most of this weekend, so it's going to be portable gaming for me until next week:

Rhythm Thief (3DS) - I'm on Chapter 4 now. I'm still digging the game and it'll be nice to actually have a couple of days where I'm not so busy so that I can really dig into the game for more than 15 minutes at a time.

Theatrhythm (3DS) - I haven't played this for a week but I'm itching to play some more again.

Something else on the 3DS (3DS) - I MIGHT grab Kingdom Hearts DDD or else just get back into something like Theresia or EO3 or the like. We'll see.

P3P (Vita) - If I can remember where I was and what I was doing last, I'll probably fire this up again and get back to work. At least I saved my save file from the PSP that was 20 hours into the game. I just have no clue what I am doing, story-wise.

Uncharted (Vita) - I should really try to spend some time on this too. I liked what little I've played... I just haven't played much of it.

1000000 (iOS) - This is a really cool game. It's kind of like Dungeon Raid but even more awesome.

Well, so far it sounds like I've already found my place in Eugene before I've arrived, which means the rest of the weekend is basically just for dating and partying.

My trip is gonna turn into another minivacation just like last week, and I'm OK with that.

I'm playing Company of heroes again and I just hit a weird glitch in Cherbourg where my ground troops (and even Half-tracks) can't cross the bridge.
So I nuked all my troops with the Howitzer and replaced them with tanks.
Hopefully I wont need to capture any more points to beat the map.

It'll be more SWTOR for me this weekend. I started a Bounty Hunter alt and made him a Cybertech. There's no way I'm paying the exorbitant prices for ship upgrades on the GTN. I'm also heading down to help my dad with the Windows PCs at his school (the rest of the machines are Macs). This will help pay for the diabetic shoes and inserts I can't put off buying any longer.

I've gotten sucked back into Minecraft after not having played the game in a long time, likely over a year. The game is still a blast to play, and it's still terrifying. I love exploring in this game, but the feeling of loneliness and the monsters give me the willies.

I started in a snowy tundra area. I poked around and found a good flat hilltop on which to build a small shack. That's been my base of operations ever since as I slowly explore my surroundings and mine for coal. I ventured out further today, and much to my chagrin I ended up getting completely lost. I had to build a small wooden box to hide in over night. Of course I couldn't tell if it was light or not, so I made a hole in one of the walls. I peered out and saw some black shadowy monster a few feet away. I promptly plugged up the hole and now I'm cowering in fear.

@ Purple and ADD, CONGRATS!!!

@ Spigot, that was awesome!!!

@ Purple and ADD again, You have to find a way to make your wedding more awesome than Spigots pics.

Probably not much gaming for me this weekend. It is my last full weekend with Tay and Hai before they move out into the world on their own. Well, they will have Emmy with them that first week but then they will be on their own. I can't wait to see what events unfold as they finally embark on their own adventure. A part of me is sad because I will miss having them around, a part of me is very excited for them (and myself a little), but most of me is terrified thinking about them vs. the evils in the world. At least they will only be living about 4 miles down the road.

Man, what great news. Congratulations Purple and ADD!!!

Never know how much gaming I will get in with the two rugrats but I picked up Kingdom Hearts 3D so that will be...interesting. I have never played one before. We are going to Disney World at the end of the month so I thought it was appropriate. That and I am afraid some of the characters may attack or aid us, so it may come in handy.

Minecraft always has a siren song for me so you just never know on that one. I will probably be toiling away near the bedrock looking for diamonds or working up the courage to venture into the dark places and destroy the evil therein. Gah, I just made myself want to go play.

Have been in class learning hockey skating the last few weeks. Good way to get out of the 100 degree weather and have a good 50 degree cool off. Can't wait to go back, as I have been having a blast with it.

That post was a nice way to end this day.

Also trying to arrange some evening plans, no luck yet.

Thanks for mentioning that bundle, Bored. Since it was still on sale, I decided to grab it.

Lollipop Chainsaw - I need to beat the last stage again so that I can see the good ending. There are a few more things that I want to do in the game, so I might work on those some, or maybe I'll save them for later. I think I'll probably rent the game again someday or more likely buy it when it gets really cheap since it seems like it would be something fun to play occasionally. I want to send it back to Gamefly Monday so that I can hopefully get Sleeping Dogs next.

Dragon's Dogma - I need to get back to this after LC is done. I'm still in the middle of the Wyrm Hunt quests. I don't expect to make much progress, but I should at least try to get back into it some.

Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep - I didn't play any this week, so I need to try to fix that.

PC Game - Maybe I'll try to play Puzzle Agent from that bundle or start an adventure game.

You have good taste. So why are you marrying Purple?

I kid, I kid. Seriously though, congrats to both of you. You two have definitely earned your slice of happiness.

I couldn't stand it anymore. I bought the Elite Founders Pack. I'm currently downloading the beta. So it looks like a weekend of Laser Swords and Giant Robots.

Glad you liked it. The second I saw zombies and weddings, I knew I had to find that photo sequence.

So we have sold our house and bought the new one. Huzzah! We don't close until October but we're pretty excited. There's a bar in the basement and it will be a perfect for board games and such. Woo!

I picked up Kingdom Hearts 3D today, so that should be fun. I left EO3 back home though
