Insomniac Announces Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault

As part of the celebration of Ratchet & Clank's 10th anniversary, Insomniac has announced a new game in the franchise: Full Frontal Assault. The game will follow a traditional Ratchet & Clank style, but will not be a retail release, rather it will be a fun-sized PSN exclusive:

The multiplayer mention worries me since All4One wasn't all that great. It certainly didn't live up to A Crack in Time.

Sony has been incredibly dilligent about HD remakes for their games. I wish Microsoft had been better about that!

It's weird, they don't specifically say multiplayer, but rather "online features". My least favorite Ratchet & Clank games have been the ones with other players or squad members, so here's hoping* they mean something more like an asynchronous challenge system akin to Pinball FX or Trials.

* Not that it really matters to me, since my PS3 broke and I'm probably not replacing it anytime soon.
