Curious if anyone was looking at this game or planned on getting it. It seems like a WW2 version of ARMA from what ive heard and seen. Im pretty sure i will be picking it up.

If you do, please let us know what you think. It looks interesting but I'm not familiar with the developer and ambitious genre mash ups (seems like FPS and RTS?) make me nervous

well think of it more as the original natural selection, everyone is first person and the commander is 3rd person (world overview) and tell squads where to move and such (or can if they want) i dont know how much RTS is really involved beyond that, i know a few people that got it so ill hit them up and see

I'm in the same boat. That trailer looks fantastic, especially the visuals, but it's light on gameplay. I'm very interested. I'll make another thread on Heroes and Generals since the strategic level stuff sounds very similar. It's in beta testing right now. I like the visuals so much more on this one though But a good FPS MMO with a strategic map and hundred campaign maps a la planetside is just sooo goood.

Oh snap, it's already released?! Came out 05-25. Game site (link) is down atm so I couldn't find any more gameplay vids. I may have to wait for some reviews unless I find something but the -10% release discount on steam is tempting already

Edit: Annnd crap. Been reading a lot of user reviews and most of the consensus is bugged to high hell and unplayable atm for most. Not worth purchasing for MP was another common comment.

NP. Really hope it gets ironed out quickly. There's a patch already out for the main game but not up on Steam. A journalist with early access however did say that we shouldn't expect it to be playable even with the patch.
