The Walking Dead episode one and continue reading A Clash of Kings if something actually happens in that goddam book. I have Labour Day off, so that's cool!

I want to ask about TWD, so i'll spoiler so not to ruin even the littlest details about the game:

Did you get past the drug store yet?

After the weekend that wasn't, I'm heading back into work. I think I'm going to work a short day though. I put in some overtime last week and I don't really want to stay late today. I just need to get these kids fessed and out the door first!

If I manage to play a game or two this week, it will be:

Analogue - A Hate Story (PC) - I've started talking with the second AI and things aren't really what they seem on this spaceship. Also, lesbians.

Xenoblade (Wii) - How big is this dead god's leg anyway? Ye gods!

Some stuff on the Vita or 3DS. I've got over a hundred play coins saved up so I'm either going to go nuts with the puzzles or beat Find Mii 2.

I’m finally playing Mass Effect 3! Of course, I’ve been so exhausted and busy it hasn’t been much. I think I’ve put in maybe 4 hours so far over the weekend, falling asleep fall too early every single night, but so far I’m loving it. It’s more ME, and so far, I like that. I don’t think it’s too much of a spoiler to say I’m on the Normandy for the first time as far as where my progress is. I jumped into one multiplayer match, and damn, that’s actually fun. I’m surprised. I could easily see going into that more.

And that’s how my gaming week is probably going to go. Whenever I can squeeze some time in, it’ll be with Mass Effect 3.

But damn, this was a busy weekend. Car shopping outright sucks. Hard. I haven’t had to do it in years, but I’m hating it. Especially since we need a car with a third row, which can be a bitch to find. Hopefully we can wrap this up soon. At least I have fantastic credit, so what we do have to finance shouldn’t be at a horrible rate.

Syndicate on PC for me (the new one). It is fun enough due to the atmosphere but I find it hard for some reason. So many bad guys and I wind up dying in big firefights when waves of them come at me. And some of the bosses or sub bosses can be a bitch. The first boss took me forever. Not sure if I fought him wrong or something. Took longer than a boss should on normal mode.

Minivan! Hand your testicles in at the door as you leave.
We had a Windstar that was great. Lots of room, take the seats out and you can fit a motorcycle inside! Took family trips to Yellowstone and San Francisco! It took it all in stride. Some idiot turned left in front of my wife and totaled it. Scary stuff; but luckily she wasn't hurt badly.

Lots more Skyrim. I've been mozying along just delving into any tower or cavern that I find. Getting tonnes of loot so I need to hit up a town soon. Might even check in on the main quest sometime soon.

Been putzing around Augusta with Tiger Fox PGA Tour 2012. Something relaxing about golf and when I just play 9 holes, it's complete in about a half hour.

My neck and knee are killing me and I'm all out of Vicodin. Damn! Life can be a living hell at times!

Today I'm playing the Take A Math Exam on My Birthday game. Hooray! -_-

Other than that, dinner with friends tonight as well as some homework. Not exactly the most thrilling birthday I've had, but I had a lot of fun over the weekend to make up for it.

I'm still playing Amalur. 100+ hours, just did both the DLC packs and heading towards the final regions. I don't know why but I love it. It's just easy to pick up. And I really love the scenery.

Next to that. God of War; Ghosts of Sparta (was on sale so I jumped).

I'm getting the Witcher 2 tomorrow (for free, whoohoo). So I probably drop both and head that way

Big-ass paper due Thursday and last final exam on Friday.

Wife's taking off this afternoon for her rotation site, beginning my year of randomly not seeing her for a week/month at a time. For May, she comes home on weekends, and we're together in June, but July she's in DC so I'll be on my own completely. In total, I think she spends 6 months positioned out of the local area. I foresee me losing several pounds over the next year, as I tend to eating little to nothing while in bachelor mode.

On the plus side, that means I'll have time to finally get all the way through ME3. That's been on my backburner for a real long time, now.

Back from my exile, so picking up The Witcher where I left off and hopefully finishing it by the weekend, when I'd like to crack open Witcher 2.

Otherwise, more beach volleyball and helping my mother move. Busy week after being away for almost two.

Well no, I haven't played since last night. One thing I don't understand is that how Lee does not know where the keys to the pharmacy are?

Oh, we’re fully expecting to go the minivan route. We’ve seen two SUVs in our range with third row seating (Ford Freestyle and Chrysler Pacifica), but both have consoles the kids would need to climb over and both have had reported issues. We actually have a pretty nice deal on a Freestyle on the table right now, with only 42k miles, but it has a history of transmission issues. We’ve got a 3 year warranty thrown in, but after that we’d be SOL with the transmission that could cost upwards of 6k to fix base on reports I’ve seen. Bleh.

So yeah, a minivan may very well be in our future, but we’ve been looking at some nice ones. I actually kind of like them, a scary as that may sound.

I wish my wife would get a minivan. She is too stubborn. Instead we have a Rav4 that is going to be too small soon. I don't want a big suv due to the gas mileage. She just refuses to get a van.

I really should get a van or something. I've still got my old 2001 Saturn SL1 that I like to drive. My wife has a Mazda 5 though and it gets us around on the bigger trips.

Mags, isn't this the 3rd or 4th birthday you've had this year? I'm losing track.

I'm playing Letting My Bank Account Recover and I Hope No One Else Makes Me Their Best Man Soon post-Bachelor Party. It was a good time, but making sure that someone else is having fun and making sure everything goes according to schedule is not the way that I relax. Combine that with forced games of Why Doesn't His Fiancee Like Me and Rain Checks From Pretty Girls and I am so, so ready for the week DAY thread to start.

I just re-started Dragon Age after buying it for PC, and I'm having fun wandering through it as a mage while I catch up on my Netflix TV. I'm also going to let my Gold subscription lapse this month, so I'll be playing as much Mass Effect 3 as I can while I can. I love my Batarian soldier to death.

Modern bachelor parties confuse me. Whatever happened to just going to the local bar and hiring a stripper? How hard is that to pull off?

Anyway, this week I'll be practicing my music, playing more Sniper Elite which finally comes out tomorrow, and continuing to futilely explore the shallow depths of the local online dating scene.

So far I'm not having any luck at it. No one's even messaged me back yet on OKCupid and I'm running out of matches that actually, well, match. I tried POF.com but I'm not impressed with the quality of matches so far. I even emailed a girl on Craigslist last night, we'll see if I hear back from her, she sounded cool at least, maybe she won't be a spammer or a Russian bride ...

It wasn't too much. Laser Tag, fancy dinner, strip club, back to hotel suite for party with bachelorette party. But it was on a very tight time schedule.

Also, while I agree that 'it comes when you aren't looking' can definitely be bullshit, that doesn't mean I subscribe to 'stress yourself out looking for it'.

So, for me:

I hope to play some more Xenoblade and Warriors Orochi 3, but who knows? I'll definitely play some more Class of Heroes. I love that game.

And this is one of my most highly anticipated games of 2012:
