Going to play D&D this evening, and leaving the Witcher 2's Enhanced Edition patch to download while I'm away. And more Legend of Grimrock, probably. And a few rounds of ME3 multiplayer because the thought that my galactic readiness score is slowly seeping away... bothers me. That whole system is a cruel thing to do to people with a touch of obsessiveness.

Bah, that sucks Norse. I hope you guys are doing ok.
On a suddenly less important note, I had a really good day at work today. Probably the first time I really *clicked* with the team at the new house. I had one of those moments where I got a phone call from my manager telling me that the CEO didn't want me passing along a particular bit of information yet... moments after I had just shared it. Whoops! Thankfully I just used my powers of persuasion to make them forget the whole thing ![]() Time to get these kids off to bed and then I shall begin the Xenoblading! Oh, I miss frederec. The Etrian Odyssey 4 trailer was released and I have nobody to get excited with

Thought I could tough it out with my speakers since the hiss/crackle was faint and game music was louder. However, tonight the crackle must have been irritated that I was able to ignore it and it got louder while playing And Yet It Moves. WTF. I said screw it. I bought these since they were the best reviewed on Amazon for the price. Sub looks a bit big but we'll see if I can fit it under the desk. Almost bought the Logitech ones, and now I wonder if I should have. $17 cheaper. Oh well.
I'm starting to think I need a new desk anyway, as I'm running out of space fast. My desktop is a fucking mess of shit. Two monitors, my tower since I don't have space on the floor, a printer I never use, my speakers and a UPS. I need a better way to manage this stuff. Saw a massive executive desk for $50 (half off) at Goodwill this past winter and wanted it badly, but had no way of getting it home. And it was quite a journey--we were traveling when I saw it. Sigh. Oh well. Also bought a Waterpik as my dentist appointment today scared me and they recommended it to me. So we'll try that out. Should be a hoot. ![]() Oh, back to And Yet It Moves. That's a neat game. Will probably play it again in fact. I was testing it out for the speakers alone tonight from my Steam Library and it was pretty fun. Thanks Eternal, for one of the humble bundles.

And you are...?
![]() I keep forgetting that there are other people around here who were into those games. I've actually been thinking a lot about firing EO3 up again, esp. after tromping around in Grimrock lately. Sigh. Like I have time for that.

Well that was a waste. The Containment armor is bind on pickup. Goddammit BioWare, who thought that would be a good idea? I now have 2 copies of 5 pieces of the armor. I screwed myself out of the belt.
Lesson learned. Still, I was able to get the Pale Rakling pet for my Imperial Agent, so it's not a total loss. |

I looked at the viewer stats on my Utility Vehicle Simulator 2012 videos, and at least a quarter of them are from... Romania. Maybe it was made there, and they're learning to ID me by my voice alone so they can sneak over here and slit my throat for badmouthing UVS? !?!

Also Mass Effect 3 is $30 today at Amazon. That includes all versions.
If you need a good chuckle, be sure to read some of the 1-star reviews. Who says there can't be angry mobs in the civilized world?!

Anyway, as for gaming for me this week, I see more Fallout: New Vegas in my future. I’m well over 50 hours in and I’m finally actually leaving the New Vegas area. No clue how far I am as far as the main story is concerned, but I have so many side quests flagged it’s a bit crazy, and a lot more of the map to cover yet. I still haven’t touched any of the 4 DLC quest lines. Yeah, there’s a lot of game to go yet. I’m really itching for a fantasy RPG right now after all of this Fallout I’ve been playing recently, so I can see maybe some Divinity II or Dragon Age getting a bit of play. Especially Dragon Age, I will finish that damn game if it kills me, I have dropped nearly 40 hours into it already. I just wish the combat didn’t suck so hard on the console. I moved my old PC into the bedroom over the weekend, and last night I installed Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics, so I could see playing some of those this week as well. The thing is 9 years old, but it at least runs those flawlessly. I need to comb GoG and find some classic PC games to play on there.

Gorvi, have you played the original Divine Divinity? If you are going to play Divinity II you should check out the original as well. It's pretty much nothing like the sequel, but it's well-worth playing. I would actually recommend playing it instead of the sequel, or at least before. It's a classic.
Divine Divinity is basically what would happen if Diablo and Ultima had a baby.
