At first I thought it was a full on block, as facebook wasn't working either, but I was able to access them through my phoneternet(it's an engineering term!). Facebook is working, and google worked for a second there too. I guess they are working on there porno-blocking transparent proxy. Maybe they found out people like me were using Coral CDN workaround and trying to block it, which might have accidentally'd all other CDN caches

Tales of Graces f - I'm still working on inn requests, side quests, and titles. I decided to not worry about being efficient and instead to have fun grinding some of it.

Mass Effect 3 - I still need to level up the classes that I promoted last weekend. I also need to earn credits to buy some packs if there is a special going on and also start saving credits for the DLC next week.

Devil Survivor 2 - I haven't played in a while, so I really need to get back into it. I'll probably try to do some free battles this weekend and then maybe work on the story next week.

Well, an update on the noise.

Turns out it's not apartment renovations, but my downstairs adjacent neighbor building shit out of wood in front of his apartment. I'm not sure that's against the rules (or why he won't use his patio), but it's FUCKING AWFUL. Just HOURS of HAMMERING followed by long breaks, so you get used to the idea that maybe he's finally done for the da-- BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG

I might not survive day two of sobriety. :\

Well if you are going old school aka abstinence that sucks. Now if you are going new school (better, modern) with recovery then relapse is part of the process. I'd say toss abstinence out the window to hit your neighbor in the head. Cheers!

I'm really enjoying AW. This is definitely a Spigot game. I am tempted to send a copy to Kelegacy. Since it's a gift he will feel obligated to play it. I'd send it to Mags too but it's not on the PC. But I know they both would love this game

Had an easy ass day at work. It involved playing a round of Settlers of Catan and watching several episodes of The Big Bang Theory and Adventure Time. Rough stuff.

Decided to go buy Xenoblade Chronicles after work. I figure it might be hard to find soon since it's getting a somewhat limited release, and I'm going to have a week off so this will give me something deep to sink my teeth into. Let's see if I play it more than an hour. Right now I'm debating whether I want to actually play it on the Wii, or just pop it into my PC and play it on an emulator. I think I'm going to check out the emulator's performance with it first. Playing it at a decent resolution with my 360 pad sounds much nicer than playing it on the fucking Wii and having to use the Classic Controller (wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't tethered to another controller!)

I almost bought The Dark Crystal on Blu-ray as I was passing through Wal-mart, as they had it for like $7.88.... But meh, I have too much shit to watch as it is.

Picked up the Magicka collection at Amazon, activated it on Steam. Look forward to trying it out.

Bought He-Man volume 1 and 2 today at Target while getting stuff for my son's easter basket. Both were $3.99 each and had 20 episodes each. The ORIGINAL He-Man. Not sure if I bought them for him or for myself....

It's so fun to buy my son stuff, as he got a Perry the Platypus basket, we put a toy Yoda in it, Spiderman/Avengers underwear, a Spiderman cup and some other $1 Spiderman stuff, a small baseball mitt and ball, and I can't remember what else. As I'm putting his fun stuff in the basket, my wife says we need to pick something out for Emmy, our daughter. I feel bad since I'm oblivious to the girl stuff. Never had a sister, but I had a boyish childhood with stuff my son is now loving (and I'm living vicariously through him again it seems). Boy stuff is fun, girl stuff seems geared towards being a good wife and mother. Or entitled "princess" crap. Bizarre.

Still, we got her a Princess basket, a cute pink stuffed pig, and some other more useful stuff like Mum-Mums and learning sippy cups. She's only 7 months, almost 8. But she's growing so fast.

I looked for a 360 Wired controller at Target but they didn't have any. WTF.

Well, never mind about playing the game on the emulator, they made it so that a regular DVD (or in this case, Blu-ray) drive cannot read the disc. Good job Nintendo, I just paid you money and you're punishing me for it.

I could just download it, but meh. Playing it on the Wii looks okay I guess, jaggy as fuck, but at least it has the proper widescreen aspect ratio (unlike Monster Hunter Tri!) The game is pretty great so far. It reminds me of Final Fantasy XII, but with a better combat system. The world feels very open for a Japanese game, and the music is fantastic; reminds me of some old-school soundtracks.

Part of that may be that Yasunori Mitsuda, who's worked on Chrono Trigger/Cross and the Xenogears/saga games, was half the composing team. Also, the scaled-up resolution on the Dolphin emulator makes it look FANTASTIC. Just have to suffer through hours of configuration and dealing with/working around the damn audio bug...
