Agent 47 Has an Axe in New Hitman Absolution Trailer

While I'm not a dedicated adherent to the Hitman series, I am familiar with it. So I was a little surprised to see Agent 47 wielding a freaking axe in the new trailer for Hitman Absolution. When I think of 'stealthy' ways to off someone, the old Lizzy Borden isn't the first thing that comes to mind.

Look for Hitman Absolution later this year.

In the last game, you could kill an entire household with rusty garden shears. An axe is positively Machiavellian.

not impressed at all with that trailer and the rip on assassin's creed that Hitman is the 'original assassin' was unnecessary.

the teaser and 'run for your life' trailer are much better.

The fire axe has been around since at least Hitman 2.

I liked that potshot since AC hasn't been anywhere near stealthy (barring 2-3 missions per game) since the first game.

Is it just me, or do the graphics look like they took a step DOWN from the last Hitman game?

I think it looks really great, graphically it really looks like a downgrade from Blood Money, so I figured it must be the console version they showed off :P

Axe has been around for a long time.. And Hitman has always given you the chance to all out kill everyone and alarm everyone or silently kill the target, and just the target.

I think those of you who think it looks worse than Blood Money have a VERY distorted view of how good that game looked.
