I've made it to Mom once in Binding Of Isaac. It didn't end well for me...

What a day. Spent most of it driving someone around then went for coffees instead

I got my exercise for the week just now though. Chipping through 3 inch thick ice that has had a chance to really set in on a driveway is sooooo fun :P

I'm glad you're enjoying Towns. I hope I have more time to play it today. I was off almost this whole last week and neglected to do most of my homework, so for the next 2.5 hours I will be reading for class. After that comes dinner and a haircut at a friend's place, followed by Game Night.

Then tomorrow a free brunch and more homework. Maybe some gaming...I hope. :/

Well heck. I was hoping PoxNora was going to be one of those games that just used your Steam info and not have to create a separate account.

Due to its legacy as a webbased game and such that would be a lot of content to figure out between two different companies and how to handle people using the web version, standalone, and steam stand alone.

Thats a guess.

I solved my speaker problems for now. I just hooked my old PC speakers through the headphone jack and they work just as well as ever. Unfortunately that means a switch out if I want to use headphones. I think I have a headphone splitter somewhere around here. If so, I can hook them both up through that and just mute the one not being used. It's not perfect but it works. Other than the built in speakers, I'm liking the new set up. I am very pleased that the monitor has 2 HDMI inputs as well as the PC. It's growing on me as a keeper.
I really liked using a monitor so it's good to hear you are liking your set up. I was crazy though with my monitor. I felt it was "portable" taking it to my parents house and away on a few vacations to bed and breakfast. Yes, I do have a gaming addiction

Thanks, Karak. I'll check this link out next time I get time to play. I really love how this emulator lets you bump up the resolution. I'm also surprised how much better it works than emulators for systems that been out awhile... namely the PS2. I guess that console is so ubiquitous there was no need to emulate it!

Watched Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 tonight with the aid of Rifftrax. Incredibly hilarious.

Picked up Rhythm Heaven Fever today while paying off SSX. That game is much better than it has any right to be.

No problems if you need you can PM me too. As with most things. I have spent many a sleepless night playing the games of the Wii on the Dolphin and probably had every problem you could encounter

What system are you getting SSX for? I'm only renting it, so I won't be able to play online, but hopefully the score leaderboards will work still.

I'm going with the 360. I was very tempted to get the PS3 version but given the focus on the online/social kind of stuff, I figured I'd go with the version I have more friends on.

It was very tempting to get a version for both systems though... if only because the PS3 version comes with Mt. Fuji and I know that will end up being DLC later on the 360... sigh...

Things I hate: Birth By Sleep. Trading that piece of shit in as soon as possible. The controls suck so much on the PSP. Ugh.

pomeroy: Wow, I though I was the only one who couldn't stand that one.

More KoA and Fate/Extra for me. The latter is a truly awesome game, I wish someone else would pick it up (for PSP, go buy it!) so we can wax eloquent about it and annoy the Gnome.

I will someday, but you'll long be done with it by then. I do regret not playing it when I had it as a rental.

SMT: Devil Survivor 2 is coming out soon though, so we could fill up a thread about that if you're getting it too. I'm assuming you are.

Edit: Plus there is a special edition of Fate/Extra coming out in Japan which adds some more stuff, but I can't remember what it is. I wonder if that has any chance of coming out here. Maybe it will, and it'll pay off that I waited.

I'm still playing the "unpacking" game. The sequel is very much like its predecessor the "moving" game. Both lack fun.

The house is almost organized at least. There will be boxes to unpack for awhile (for me anyway) but they are in a place where we don't have to feel we live in a Karak-like Sims 3 simulator house with a built in obstacle course.

After another frustrating session of Battlefield 3 (Xbox), we've decided to call it quits and look for another game. I think the objectives are too complicated for such a small team size (max 12 on a side), because nearly every single match I've ever played in this game hinges on the core of 2-3 players that actually move on the objectives. Everybody else acts like they're playing Team Deathmatch.

I'd blame Halo, but Halo has objectives that people pursue. So does CoD. What is about BF3 that encourages Xbox players to camp on the other side of the map from the dang M-COMs?!?!?!

So now my brother and I need a new Xbox game we can play. As unimaginable as this was a few months ago, I'm definitely considering MW3. It's on sale at Amazon for $40, and we can trade in BF3 for $25 in credit. $15 isn't a bad deal.

Edit: Or... ME3... *Puts on sneaky salesman hat.*

I'm not sure what has happened to my internal clock. I still have those nights I do not fall asleep before 2:30-4:00am but now I have a few nights a week that I fall asleep between midnight-1:30am and wake up at 3:00am. Oh well, as long as I'm not too tired I suppose it's okay.

I loaded up Gallop Racer 2003 yesterday. I forgot I had it but Hai found it and carried it over saying "horse" "horse." She has also learned to come up and say "game" when she wants to sit in my lap and watch a game. When it comes to talking she is a mixed bag. Several things she uses one or two words but ever now and then she throws out a whole sentence. She walked up to her mom yesterday and asked, "what are you doing?" as plain as day. The funniest thing though is she can't say her L's so she pretty much skips them. I asked her to say Lilly and she pretty much said "eee."

Anyway, back to Gallop Racer. That is what I have been playing. I wish I could find a really good Horse racing sim that was training and betting only. I'm not too big on being a jockey.

My sleep schedule is all over the place too. I'm finding myself nodding off around 10pm, but then I wake up a half an hour later in my chair and I have a hard time going to sleep before 2am. Of course, the days when I CAN sleep in are the days I fall asleep early. The ones where I have to be up at 6am are the days I am lucky to get 3 hours of sleep :P

I can't get it to load. I get a "click to play" message but nothing happens after I click it. Oh well. Gallop Racer it is.

Bah. I'll try to find a version that works later. It's the one with the crazy races that is absolutely absurd.
