I am imagining some of the people here, on Ventrillo or some other voice service, talking to each other as they play through Journey together.. only to find out that they were playing with strangers.

Finished the game last night, which took me about one hour and fifty minutes, niether running through it nor exploring every nook and cranny.
Amazing game, really breathtaking. And the multiplayer, which I didn't think would do anything for this game, made the experience so much more enjoyable. Towards the end, it really felt like two beings struggling together, for an unknown cause. And to my suprise, I had played with four different people, even though I was convinced it was the same person from the beginning to the end. I'm amazed that they all wanted to play it in the same way I wanted to play, and do things together all the way. "Conversations" with other players with just sounding of some bleeps was perfect for this game, it actually did a great job of conveying what needed to be communicated. And I just have to say this is the most beautiful game I've ever played. |

Hated Flow but loved Flower. 2 hours for $15 seems steep but many people like it so I may pick up a $20 card and find $5 to spend on something else.

Amazing.
Didn't expect the anonymous co-op to work as well as it did. Got separated from a few of my partners, but went through all the snow areas with one other person, huddling together the whole time. If one of us took a wrong turn the other would turn around wait and mash O till we were back on track. Pretty awesome.

Grabbed a $20 card today, got the download started and god damn is PSN slow tonight.
Edit: Wow, less than 5% in 30 minutes. Is anyone else experiencing this tonight? Last edited by digitalErich; 03-13-2012 at 10:17 PM. |

That was one of the most unique game experiences I've ever had.
If you're on the fence about this or planning to buy it at some point, buy it now. Playing this game the first time through with someone else who is new to the game is something special. |

Really happy with this. I dug Flow but hated Flower so I was bit worried. This is by far better than both. This is SotC good. My only complaint is length, but at the same time, it is kind of awesome to be able to do it in one sitting. I started DLing it around 1200am, and planned to only do a level or so, but ended up beating it around 300am because it was that good (fuck work and sleep!). I do recommend setting a decent amount of time to finish it all and have it as one unbroken experience.
I really hope that everyone gets to do the final level with another player, that really topped off the experience, which is very emotional, almost religious. |

Man I was hopping around, sniffing out orbs and puzzle pieces. On the half completed bridge I spy movement. He jumps and completes my friggin puzzle.
![]() Actually these incursions into my psychopompic journey kinda feel like a violation. Instead of brotherly love or whatever I wanted to headbutt somebody away from my orb.

I can't buy PSN codes online? LAME!
edit: the GF bought me a card on her way to work and texted me the code. I forgot my password as I haven't bought anything on there since Fat Princess when it released. Downloading now but will play it later when it is dark on my big 120 projector screen. I'm avoiding any and all talk about the game so I can have a fresh... hype free experience. Also, going to play it in one single shot. Last edited by OldJadedGamer; 03-14-2012 at 04:13 PM. |
