It was a fun movie. Nothing award winning for sure. But an honest fun movie. For those that read the book, it is a departure story-wise from the book, although the overall plot is kept to. Just how it gets there is very different. I can answer questions if anyone would like.

I would have liked the movie more if I hadn't felt like the writers were constantly reminding me that they thought I was too stupid to enjoy a movie that wasn't as generic as possible in plot and character development.
In other words, if I hadn't already read half the book the movie would have annoyed me less. |
