The TV You (May) Be Watching On Your 360 This Week

The new dashboard update for Xbox goes live tomorrow, so today's as good a time as any for Microsoft to release the full list of television and content providers which will be available in the update.

The only really new content available in the US starting tomorrow is the Epix premium movie channel. Content such as ESPN, Netflix and Hulu Plus will still be available. But lots more content will be coming during the month of December and in early 2012.

Click the 'More' button to see the full list of content providers coming to the Xbox starting tomorrow. The bolded entries are providers available in the United States

Most of the content listed here will require a separate subscription and all will require a Gold account.

The dash update also adds expanded voice functionality and 'Beacons' to better help organize online play. When you turn on your Xbox tomorrow you should be prompted to download & install the update.

I'll be interested to see how the BBC channel works, as I have a Gold subscription and pay my license fee.

don't really see anything of interest in that list right now but as they come out I'll check the channels out.

Xfinity's on demand service might be nice, provided that it's an interface upgrade from the unusable cable-box version.

I would happily pay a subscription fee for the BBC's iPlayer service, especially if a single subscription could be used across platforms...

"UFC on Xbox LIVE (UFC). Canada, United States"

This one actually catches my eye. I've been tempted to start watching UFC, but I don't subscribe to cable or satellite at home (just use Netflix).

Pretty sure the "deal" is voice control for Netflix.

Otherwise...as per usual...nothing for us Canucks really. Would be nice if they bothered to update their Windows 7 MCE with these channels as well...or even just Netflix support...but dare to dream

Good mix for everyone in that list.

Looking forward to the dash update now that I have my Kinect up and running.

I didn't know you could tab between the tabs using the bumpers. That's a good "tip".

The BBC app will be free to anyone with an Xbox in the UK, so no Gold account required.

Hulu is also now on the PS3 in Japan but I gather Hulu Japan isn't packed with content yet. Might be something I will be interested in subscribing to in the future though.
