I just got a phone call. I get my offer letter at the end of the week. I'll probably start on June 11. Gotta give my two weeks.

As for the gay bar, Kato, Rini and I were walking around Greenwich Villiage looking for a place to hang out so naturally we head for the nearest gay bar. Kato tries to buy the first round and goes to the bar. He asks the bartender what kind of beer they have on tap. The bartender responds, "We don't have beer on tap." He further exclaims, "Gay bar," then shrugs.

No punchline. Just thought it was weird that that gay bar didn't have taps and they acted like it was common knowledge.

The "tini's" were running dry that terrible day. Summer was unreasonably hot during the festivities, and many flocked to other bars to slake their thirst.

Mitch did not know the rules. Or worse, he ignored the legends altogether. "Mere poppycock," he thought as he poured a particularly fabulous man an ice-cold beer from the tap. A single drop of condensation rolled down the mug before the glittery individual quaffed the drafted booze.

Mitch was torn apart that day. After the demonic creature, clad in a feather boa and leather, was finally captured, they were able to trace the path of violence all the way to his newly-open, now forever-closed microbrewery. Limbs were scattered throughout, while a haunting melody piped forth from a smashed and malfunctioning jukebox, over and over again: "Hallelujah, it's raining men."
