Subscribe to Playstation Plus For One Year, Get Jurassic Park Free!

Sony and Telltale have come together to offer gamers a deal on both Playstation Plus and Telltale's upcoming Jurassic Park game: If you subscribe to one year of Playstation Plus between November 1st and November 8th, you will receive all four episodes of Jurassic Park for free! The total value of Jurassic Park's four episodes is $29.99, while Best Buy is offering one-year Playstation Plus subscriptions for $49.99; Sony is quick to point out that if you already have a subscription you can renew it early to receive the promotional copy of Jurassic Park as well.

Jurassic Park releases on PSN on November the 15th.

Bah. I need to renew mine sometime soon but I am holding out in hopes they make the free 3 months offer again. I missed out on the anniversary sale so I am hoping they offer it again on the 15 month anniversary.

Hopefully this succeeds and gets Microsoft to pay some attention to their Gold members. Sony has been outdoing them a lot lately on the freebies/sales front.

I think they have been outdoing them from day one of PS+. I've gotten so many free games, plus the sales on downloadable games and dlc. It's paid for itself many times over. I cancelled my Live Gold sub, and I don't plan on looking back.

Does this include renewals? I think my 12 months that became 18 or so finally ends in December.

Edit: Welp, didn't even read you're whole post, lol. I guess that means I'm renewing. Not like I wouldn't have anyway..... (I hope Sam's still sells the $50 PSN cards for $47)

Yes, it includes renewals so long as you renew between the 1st and the 8th of November. If you renew early, say with a card from Best Buy, the times will stack and you'll still get Jurassic Park.

Does this game stay yours when your PSN Plus subscription ends? AFAIK, the other 'free' PSN games you get with Plus are only yours as long as you continue to subscribe to Plus.

They are 'Yours' as long as you keep paying. Once you stop paying, you can't play them AFAIK. I'm sure they are 'YOURS' as in they sit on your hard drive... but they can't be opened... so what good are they?

No, you get the free games so long as you're a PS+ member but that's it. You get to 'keep' the discounts and other bonuses.

Plus has been a damn good deal, I've had it since they offered the free trial after the outage and it's very much been worth it. I'd jump on this if I cared about the Jurassic Park game.
