They will not be back in a continuity-impacting way.

By this logic, Troy and Abed are able to travel to space. We had 6 false timelines in the episode itself, having one of them continue through the closing tag doesn't mean anything.

Harmon has stated that the correct timeline is the Jeff gets pizza one. Which is super obvious.

That is the timeline we follow. I am telling you, there are too many possibilities for the writers to ignore.

Their genre parodies do not spill over from individual stories. If they meet, then you've basically got a science fiction show, and if we watch them develop separately, we'll learn...what, exactly? Only that choices make a difference, an idea completely covered by episode they were created in. It would be a horrible move on their part, and completely jump the shark.

I think you are putting a lot of emphasis on the continuity. I find the continuity, while a lot more consistent, seems only as important as the Simpsons. We'll see, but I am sure Evil versions will comeback in some form.

I think they may have missed a great opportunity to have a season arch of tags involving Evil Study Group. Just showing what would've been going on in the evil story line in 20 second chunks each week would've been fantastic.

Also, fuck Whitney. And while I enjoy Up All Night, I think I'd cut it free than have Community Shelved.

Though, in all honesty, they should just bash The Office's head in with a shovel and dump it in a shallow grave in the woods right outside of town where nobody will ever find the body of that homeless guy I gave a ride to.

Last night's episode seems to be divisive. I liked it because it kind of felt like a commentary on the show itself.

The episode was ok, a little too weird even for this show. It just felt somewhat... flat.

I also want to agree that someone needs to put The Office out of its misery. First I thought the show would definitely end when Michael left. Then I thought it could be different enough to be entertaining when Andy became manager. Now I realize that Andy is just a complete fill-in for Michael. It's like they didn't even change the writing at all, they just substituted someone less funny. Also, for those who still watch The Office for some fucked up reason like me, what the hell was with them name-dropping the everliving shit out of Limitless? I've seen few shows or movies ever that stank of name-dropping and product placement so badly.
