Also, I'm on the lookout for a Touchstone or Bluetooth kbd on sale as well. If someone can score extras, I'll buy one of each.

I didn't have one either. My first order at 5.14 EST was cancelled, second order at 5.45 EST has shipped (just got notification). So pretty much you won't know until you get notification or it arrives at your door. Good luck.

Hopefully I can snag a second one for family when HP has more, but I doubt I'll be awake when it goes live, whenever that is.

I think I saw on Slickdeals that Best Buy was having touchstone chargers on sale...

Mine was canceled as well. Oh well, I'll keep an eye out for the additional HP shipment, but I'm not too bummed out. Its not like I was really in the market for a tablet before all this started...

my hp was confirmed and now has an order status of admin but they have charged... my onsale tablet was cancelled, my 16gb amazon llc lightening deal tablet arrived today. my 32gb amazon llc tablet was "shipped" yesterday and then i got a cancellation two hours later and the tracking number pulls up nothing so who knows now.

hope my order with hp goes through i gave the first one to my mom and now i want one if i get more lol.

So, I noticed this deal come up as a sponsored link on ebay, but I've got some niggling suspicions about it. Should I be worried? And hell, if it's screwy, he only takes payment by Paypal so I can just cancel it, right?

Yeah, I've got enough spider-sense tingling to keep me from pulling the trigger, but it was awfully close for a minute or two there.

In other news, the HP folks have confirmed that there won't be any news about new shipments today. I'm personally hoping sales open up tomorrow while people are a PAX, or being assaulted by a hurricane. Is that evil?

Holy jesus. WebOS MUST be better on a tablet, because as of 3 months ago it was shit on the pre.

How was it shit? I never used the phone but they do have a lot of phone apps that instead of scaling up, they just look like they are running on a phone. Phone frame and all. Kind of sad.

I've got an overclocked Pre-, the original from Sprint. Love it. Got a few Android devices around as well. Much prefer webOS over Android any day of the week.

I'm almost in the same boat. The lack of support evens things out though. They should sell off WebOS. They probably could get their most money back.

Touchpads didn't get Netflix two nights ago. My Transformer did.

Okay, I'm being a little harsh. Web OS may very well be a great OS, but the hardware around it severely hindered functionality - the speed was abominable.

This was the original pre, mind - the launch version, not that fancy updated stuff.

Really neat features, I guess, but the lack of developer support was painful. I watched the app store go from no apps at all (seriously, hadn't launched yet) to like 6000. I had it for almost two years.

Man, I tried to love the pre. Stuff did not work out.

But a tablet for my parents would be great. They kind of need one for their work, and they keep putting it off.
