Pata-pata-pata-pon!! Been looking forward to that for a while. Also been waiting for The Incredibles on Blu Ray for a long time. It's one of my all-time favorite movies, and I've been looking forward to the upgraded version.

Gah, I'm getting two things this week, and a ton of things next week. I guess it will give me plenty to do over the summer.

I'm also curious about Scream 4. I've not seen any trailers yet, but people seem cautiously optimistic. It's been so long since the (not well-regarded) third movie, I'm not sure what to think about it.

After Wes Craven's latest turd (My Soul To Take) I think I'll wait to get a consensus on Scream 4. Frankly, I never thought much of the man, I think he has directed maybe four movies in his entire career that I consider to be watchable.

You're right, frederec. I haven't seen anything about Scream 4 yet, which is odd given how films tend to get marketed to death.

Rio might be fun for the kids...

As for games, the only thing on that list that stood out was Patapon 3 but I have barely touched the first two (to my eternal shame) so I will wait and just grab Patapon 3 off of the network at a later date.

Just bought DA2 so nothing for me (there's isn't much to be honest, closest thing I might consider is LA Noir, but maybe I'll even skip that and wait for inFamous 2 or Shadows of the Damned)

I agree. He's like John Carpenter. A lot of his filmography is crap (in my opinion, I know some people who enjoy movies of his I think are a waste), but when they're good, they're pretty darn good.

I've got this really old rebate applied to Patapon 3, so I'm actually only paying $5 for it. And I have played the first two to death, so I'm very much looking forward to it. If it makes it easier to take the plunge, I hear (like Etrian Odyssey III) it doesn't let you import information from the earlier games.

Clash Of Heroes is hitting the PSN/XBLA side of things this week. If you like puzzle/RPG hybrids, this one is far superior to Puzzle Quest in my opinion. Loved it to death on the DS.

It's not that I am afraid of missing out on anything, plot-wise... I just want to actually spend time playing the first two more since I've already got them and am trying to save a few bucks

Divinity II, I want it. Held off preordering because I don't know if I'd play it right away after beating Dragon Age. Still...it's tempting. I have the original version of the game, but the revamped graphics mean I'd rather have this version.

I meant to play it a long time ago, especially after you talked about it so much. Maybe I'll finally grab it.

The Lego game looks interesting. A rental for me but might be worth a rent.

I've seen quite a bit of TV trailers for Scream 4. I might venture out of the attic to see this with Ms. Claus.

I always thought Man vs Wild would be a good platformer....too bad this game doesn't look good at all.

I woke up this morning, and amazon had sent me an email saying my Patapon 3 order had been delayed until early May. When I go to the page, it says it's got a number of them in stock, but not being sold by amazon itself. What the hell is up with that?

Maybe you mistakenly ordered it from Amazon.ca, since that's par for the course up here.

We've talked about this before, I think, and this is how things were at amazon US as recently as three or four years ago. And it was these sort of issues that kept me going to GameStop or occasionally Best Buy (though they generally didn't have the games I wanted when they were released). I'm grateful that these days this sort of thing is fairly rare. Hopefully it'll eventually become that way for you too.
