Sony has released a new trailer for their revival of Twisted Metal, and tucked away at the end is a release date. You'll be able to drive with Sweet Tooth and the rest of the psycho crew on October 4. It will of course be a Playstation 3 exclusive.

I can't wait for this. The first couple Twisted Metal games got A LOT of playtime on the original Playstation...

Now if only they could hurry up and make another fun to play, back to basics Crash Bandicoot game...

I don't think you'll ever see that. Naughty Dog was the developer of those PS1 Crash games, and when Universal took back the license that was the end of the ND developed Crash games.

I thought Black was great and a throwback to Twisted Metal 2 which was my favorite in the franchise. I'm a little hesitant of what I'm reading about the new one focusing on "clans" that can drive any vehicle rather than the signature characters piloting their own vehicles, but as long as they don't ditch the feel they had going with Black, I'll be happy.
