Man, I just don't know if I could play Xenogears again without the Gameshark code that speeds up the text. I read very fast, and there's a LOT of extremely slow text. Without it, I never made it past the sand city. With it, the game gave me 50 great hours.

Still mad I missed the PA bundle sale last week due to my PSN issues. RE2 is attractive but I think I still own the disc copy.

Wow, Ys 1 and 2 for $25. Might not wait for a sale after all.

I'm buying nothing this week. I'll eventually buy Alien Breed: Descent (when it goes on sale) and Xenogears, but not yet. Next week, though, is PixelJunk Shooter 2, that game will have my money.

Trying the Yakuza 4 demo and the Dragon Age 2 demo. I'm debating about buying Yakuza 4 at launch because I still haven't played the second game, much less the third, but I want to support the franchise and make sure they continue localizing the games. Especially since Sega likes to mess with the US audiences on whether or not we'll get them.

I want Dead Money, but I'm trying to hold off for the eventual GOTY.

By the by, Kmart's got a great deal for Yakuza 4. Buy it in its release week, get $10 back... and a free Yakuza 3. Since I've only got 1 and 2, I'm sold.

Seriously? Damn, I still don't have 3, that'll sell me. Damn you forcing me to spend money!

Is this online or in stores? I've got Yakuza 3, but if this is online, I'd be totally willing to turn around and sell an additional copy. I don't think there's a Kmart anywhere near me.

Homebrew-enabled PSPs can run PS1 games with gameshark codes. For my millionth Xenogears playthrough, I maxed all character's skills and levels from the start. Great way to replay.

I think I'm going to grab Lost and the Damned + Gay Tony bundle. That's a good price, I think.

I'll be grabbing that Dragon Age 2 demo, for sure. I am also tempted by the GTA IV DLC... but I think I much prefer physical copies.

I believe it's only in-store. Kmart has deals like this on pretty much every big release now. Here's the CAG thread on it:

http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/...d.php?t=284992

Kmart is a bit out of my way, but they make it worth it.

Who the hell makes a licensed game out of Days of Thunder in 2011?

Nobody even gave a shit about that damn movie when it was actually new, 20 goddamn years ago.

I'm buying Xenogears. Never played it and I've always wanted to so that's a must.

It's a wonderful game, and I really liked it. The only problem with it is the terrible, terrible text speed, that makes towns a chore. Some people also hated the Tower of Babel, which mixes somewhat challenging platforming with random battles, but that didn't bug me too much.

It's got a pretty serious JRPG story, though, the kind that we don't see much anymore.

The second disk also turns off a lot of people. It becomes clear they ran out of time and money to finish the game, so a lot of the second disk is plot summary. Every time I think about it, it makes me wish they could get a remake. The graphics were also pretty pixelated.
