Steam cloud failure?

hey all,

i did a quick search and couldn't find anything regarding this, hence a new thread.

i recently purchased amnesia and i played it at work on my laptop (macbook) but when i got home and tried to play on my windows pc no game data registered. i have steam cloud enabled on both computers and accepted steam cloud use when the game started up on both computers.

so is there something im missing, is this just a steam error or is steam cloud not compatible between mac and pc?

I'm pretty sure amnesia isn't one of the game that supports the steam cloud.

it doesn't

Go here to the Metro page. On the right hand side scroll down and you'll see, Single pLayer, Steam Achievements and Steam Cloud.

On the amnesia page it doesn't support the cloud.

Some issues do exist though. Fallout:NV supports the cloud but it's disabled on the server side due the cloud overwriting saves I believe.

Ok, thanks duke.

Interesting that when i booted the game on the mac the first time it said this game is compatible with steam cloud would you like to enable this feature for saving. I didnt think to check if it is compatible with cloud because of this, stupid assumptions. maybe its coming to the game soon or maybe its just another issue with steam and mac.

thanks for the help guys.
