Too late for me. I had a lot of fun with the game, but it took too long to get this out. I hope that they learn for their next game.
If someone picks it up, I would be interested in hearing what they think of it.

For anyone thinking of Playing right now, I would suggest putting that off till you hear from EvenBalance. They sent out a massive ban list to which a LOT of people are complaining BS on Steam, EvenBalance, BC2, and pbbans forums.

I hope to never play Wake Island again! It's been converted enough IMO.

Poor wording on my part. It has been too long since BC2 came out for me to want to buy DLC for it. I loved the game, but it has been collecting dust for a while and I don't think the DLC would be worthwhile for me personally.

It's hard as hell and I am just now getting used to things overall. Some of the maps are quite vicious such as Hill137, very tough for the attackers but authentic in that respect.
I like the weapons fine but it's odd not having a red dot and other modern tools of warfare. It took getting used to but I have no problems anymore as I've always liked iron sights. The vehicles are fine and handle as they should, it's also nice being able to damage a chopper with a machinegun. There is no leveling that is seperate from BC2. I am 37 in both games and have all weapons unlocked. The flamethrower is pretty awesome and very usefull in some maps. I am enjoying myself but am a diehard Battlefield fan. As stated I still play every week when I'm not busy being a dad or closing all those damn TF2 events.
