Video game-TV compatibility question

Hey guys.

I'm sure this has been asked in the past, and I wasn't quite sure where to look (feel free to redirect me), but I just bought a new television set, 120 hz refresh rate, 46" Sony Bravia LCD. It's doing quite well, except that I've encountered a problem that seems rampant in that the lyrics of my music/rhythm games (like RB2) are all blurry when they are in motion. I've already gone to game mode and turned off the cinemotion or whatever thing so the guitar could work properly.

Anyone encounter this and know how to fix this? (other than saying "turn on static mode")
