Looks like Max Payne 3 for Steam is still on sale through Amazon, too, though it's 33% off now instead of 50% off. Still, I'm loving the hell out of it, and I'd say $40 ain't a bad price if you're interested.

I'm pretty happy with the games I got off amazon this weekend. Binary Domain for $10 and the Civ Pack. Civ 5 goty, Civ 4 complete and Stronghold collection for $20. I've never played a Civ game so I'm wondering if I go through 4 first or just start on 5?

Civ 4 is the better game, but Civ 5 is much more newbie friendly. It sacrifices a bit of depth to achieve that accessibility but it's still a lot of fun. I'd recommend starting there.

I grabbed Mortal Kombat for the Vita at Gamestop, using up the last of my trade-in credit leftover from that big trade I did a while back. Pretty cool game at a good price

Civ V's AI may be dumb, but I vastly prefer it over Civ IV. YMMV.

I'm with you, I think it's a better game in almost every way.

Legend of Grimrock is currently half off on GOG.com, making the game $7.50.

That's a great price for a really solid game.

On Good Old Games: The 1987 original Sid Meier's Pirates! and 1993's Pirates! Gold. $5.99

I loved the heck out of the new one. I'm wondering if I would be able to play these games due to my graphics-whore orientation. Hell, why not. I still fire up X-Com and Master Of Magic every now and then.
