May need to buy a cradle now... Netflix quality is very impressive. The app loads about as slow as the 3DS app but the video playback on the vita screen is really good and super crisp.

My big worry with a case is how it will treat the analog sticks. Ideally I'd like something with a lid that has a sort of lip on it to hold the Vita down in the bottom of the case, so that the analog sticks won't have anything putting pressure on them.

Regarding the sticks, are they also buttons, as on the Dual Shock?

I thought I read that all games will be available day one on the PSN. If so they lied again, no Ninja Gaiden Sigma plus and no date on when or if it will be. Going full digital may not be an option.

I will go full digital regardless and companies will just have to miss out on my money. I really can't imagine what the motivation would be for a publisher to pass on digital in this day and age. There's no question that they make more from a digital sale.

Ninja Gaiden was in the store this morning when I checked. At least, it was listed in the Vita games section of the store.

I tried to buy Katamari this morning but kept getting a server error. I did grab the free game though and will try to buy Katamari again tonight.

Cool, oddly it's omitted from the Playstation store update blog they are usually very thorough. Anyone know how much they are selling it for on the store?

I was browsing PSN on my PS3 last night, and I noticed that they weren't listing PS Vita games but were still listing PSP games. I had thought it would work in a similar fashion, that one could purchase and download a Vita game on the PS3, and transfer the game to the Vita at their leisure. Is this not the case, or something to come soon?

They are supposed to get the store updated soon, why it's not ready to go by launch day is beyond me. You can search for them and you will find them but they still don't have a dedicated spot in the store...or at least I don't think they do, I haven't logged in this morning.

Picked mine up at a three-person midnight launch on the way home from a work run. :P

So glad they added background downloading, because the download time has NOT improved. Of course, this could be just the influx of traffic to the PSN Store.
And whose bright idea was it to suspend the downloads when the Vita goes into automatic suspend mode? Are we really expected to babysit downloads if we're not playing a game? Argh.

Otherwise, I'm happy with it so far. How the analog sticks hold up for shooters is a concern, as they are bound to be super-sensitive by default.

Holy shit, Netflix looks amazing on this thing. Sucks that you can't minimize the screen without losing the video you're watching, but hopefully that'll come in an update.

A week in and I'm really in love with my Vita. Deviants was a waste of time, but Uncharted is really great and Hot Shots is a ton of fun. Good stuff.

I had forgotten what playing Lumines for an hour does to your eyes... But hey, it's great fun and most of the music is really good.

Also got a pair of headphones and a code to redeem, to get about $6 discount on a selection of four games, as a pre-order bonus.

Don't forget there's a Unit 13 demo up on the store as well - it's not in the same place as the other games (which have the demo right next to the purchasable game), but IS in the "Demos" section of the store. Downloading it now, but since I'm at work it's gonna be slow going and I probably won't get to play it until later.

I gave Lumines a second chance last night and had a great time doing so. I'm going to hold off on buying it for now, though, because I just gave the Rayman Demo a shakedown and that game's quite pretty, and plays very well!
