Deal-O-Tron 5000 Pirate Edition

This edition brought to you by Grog. When you need your rum and water fix, try Grog!

Steam
To finish up Lucasarts week, the special editions of Secret of Monkey Island 1 & 2 are on sale for only $7.49. That's two outstanding adventure titles for one great price.

The Star Wars collection is only $49.99. There are lots of great Star Wars games included for a pretty great price.

Champions Online is 70% off for $6.00.

Playstation Network
To see this week's PSN deals check out Gorvi's post from earlier this week.

GOG
[Redacted]

Xbox Live
For Gold Members only (of which everyone should be until Tuesday). There are several puzzle games on sale including Gyromancer, Puzzle Chronicles, PUZZLE BOBBLE Live!, Globe Clicker and Arkedo Series 02 - SWAP. Ranging from 1/3 off to 2/3 off.

Frys.com

Civilization V is on sale for $39.96. Keep in mind this game still uses Steamworks, so you will need to activate it through Steam.

As always, if you know of other gaming deals add them to the thread. Thanks for reading and have fun!

Oh man... pre-order Civ V on Steam for $50 and get it on release day, knowing that I don't have time to play it anyhow? Or get it from Fry's for cheaper, but have to wait for a box?

Decisions.

Why should everyone be Gold until Tuesday? Are they running free Gold or something?

Ah! I've been waiting for a sale! And to clear some stuff up, free Gold weekends typically don't give Silver members Gold benefits, just access to online multiplayer. I could be wrong, though.

Edit: Bah. As usual, I' wrong.

The Live Arcade deals are awesome, I recommend all those games.

Also, on IMPULSE: Kitten Sanctuary is $6.49, Beyond Divinity is $4.99, and Warlords III is $4.99. Those are probably the best deals on that service right now.

Get the physical copy. Print manuals are awesome.

I have to wait for the boxed CE copy, the Civ4 CE was such a great box, and this one looks great too. And it's better to wait, otherwise you won't get anything done.
Honestly, I'm forcibly handing my copy over to my parents to box up for Christmas, along with Fallout: New Vegas. That way either game won't get in the way of my school work, and this semester is pretty brutal enough as it is without adding on sleepless nights continually hitting enter to get the next turn.

I don't buy boxed copies of PC games anymore. The last one was Oblivion back in early 2009 or even 2008. I was staunchly against digital distribution until mid-2008, so this is quite the turn-around!

I picked up Monkey Island 2. It's the only one of the four that I've never played.

The Monkey Island pack is purchased. Excellent! I bought it on XBLA when it was on sale, but the cursor stuff with a gamepad is just awful. I don't feel bad about slipping Telltale an extra $5, though.

Offer ends soon! Don't delay!

Thanks! I probably won't play it until 2015, but at least it's in my library now!

Decided to go with the Steam version of Civ V. After shipping, the boxed version from Fry's was less than five dollars cheaper, and I'll use the PDF version of the manual (which they just put out and anyone can download for free now) more than I would use a physical one anyhow. I don't need another box on the shelf.
