Pretty much digging the game so far. A bit stuck on the "Decisive Battle" quest ATM, need some better armor I think, and probably a group. That last boss is brutal.

Unfortunately, I have hit my first major problem with the game: Grouping is insanely laggy. The last group I got in it was almost totally unplayable the lag was so bad.

So it may mean a bit of grinding and farming until I can solo the boss of the next quest.

Soloing Clifford isn't advisable. You should probably just start your own group, so you won't have to deal with lag. My group got him down through a lot of team work, and lots of those resurrection feathers... But I was playing with that increased difficulty oath on, where he can often one-shot you.

If you're playing as Fiona, you might be able to get the Heavy Stander skill before you fight him, and that would probably help.

From the looks of the open parties for him, it seems as if most people are grinding up to damn near 20 before bothering with him.

Its fine solo, its only in groups I've had lag issues. I think the matchmaking is peer to peer or something, so if the host has shitty internet, everyone gets boned.

Thank God there's no PvP.

Alright, I grabbed Hawk's second code. I'll definitely have at least one key up for coggers whenever that gets sent; the other might go to my brother if he's interested, otherwise to cog.

Also, does anyone else ever do this? It told me to make an account, so I went with the default handle, and it says it's already taken; lo and behold, I already have an account. Apparently I had created one at an earlier date. This happens to me all the time.

I'd like to give this a go. My main complaint about MMOs is the way combat is usually handled. A game with real time combat would be pretty neat, provided the connection is good.
