WeekEND gaming(9/10/10)- What are YOU playing?

A short work week but oh what a week it has been. A time shift at work has left me a bit...well a bit like this:

I'm looking to the weekend to recover. How about your week? The Good, or The Bad or maybe The Ugly for you? Choose or not the week sheds its day putting back on the easy going end. The weekend has been beckoned!

I see lots of napping because...well I love naps and i'm a lazy sloth. When not finding another excuse to nap the weekend away I might be awake long enough to try some of these:

P3P- Topping floor 200 and inching closer to December.

Mafia 2- Living the mobster lifestyle circa the 1950's.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions- Spider-Man...Spider-Man...Does whatever a spider can..Spins a web, any size,
Catches thieves just like flies Look Out! Here comes the Spiderman.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent- The latest PC game the evil Gnome has lured me into buying. Luckily his taste in games is pretty good.

Or i'll MagGnome my weekend eating lots of pizza beer and delicious vegan snacks while promising myself i'll play lots of games in my Steam library. What's on your weekend agenda? What will YOU play?

I keep getting sucked back into the optional quests on Dragon Quest IX. I have a feeling I'll want to play something else over the weekend, but I don't know what. Resonance of Fate keeps whispering in my ear, we'll see. There's also this demo Spigot was harassing me to play, maybe I'll do that.

More Darksiders and Valkyria Chronicles II I'm sure. I haven't played anything in a few days so it'll be nice to get back into both.

I'll probably pick up Bioshock 2 on my way home today, you can get it for $20 with a Best Buy Reward Zone coupon through Sunday.

Started Persona 3 this week for the first time. Still getting a feel for the flow of the game (highest floor is 14th).

I'm not a big fan of the "fatigue" factor I have to stop every few floors but I assume that will get much better. I'm always afraid I'm not doing enough during the "school day". It looks like you can only do 1 social link or event per day.

I don't completely understand the fusing Persona aspect yet. I know I can start fusing now but I'm afraid I'll do it to soon before my links are high enough and they might be under leveled. It may not work that way I'm not sure.

What happens if you get to the end of the school year but haven't finished the tower or is that a spoiler?

The fatigue gets much better the further you go, it's only really a factor for the first 10 or so hours.

Feel free to play with it, just be sure to "save" your Persona in the compendium, you can always buy them back later to experiment with fusions. Or you can save, fuse, and if you don't like what you got reload. You do get a huge benefit from fusing Persona of types where you have high level social links, but early on that's not really something that can be a factor as you haven't had the chance to progress those links yet.

You really can't, you'll hit roadblocks in the tower that you can't progress past until you hit a certain point in the story (set days on the calendar) and in order to progress you'll have to beat bosses. If you haven't leveled yourself, by progressing through Tartarus, you won't have a chance at beating those bosses. So long as you're spending a decent amount of time progressing through Tartarus and leveling your party you'll be fine.

Valkyria Chronicles 2 - It finally arrived a few days ago, and I really love it so far. I'll probably try to concentrate on it for most of the weekend and try to make some decent progress.

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep - If it shows up tomorrow, I'll probably at least check it out some.

I might also play some King's Bounty: Armored Princess and League of Legends.

You don't have to save your personae. The game automatically saves whatever is the first version of the persona you see, whether gotten in battle or through fusion. You only need to save them if you have a version that is better than what is already there.

Well, yeah, that's a good point. But usually when you're ready to fuse you've used a persona a bit, so it's leveled some from when you first obtained it and gained abilities from that.

The weekend is here already? ...but I didn't get to play much during the week.

I received a key for World of Tanks so I am finally going to give it a try. I'm also going to muddle around with a few of the newly released free MMORPGs and try to find one I want to play. If not, I might go back and play some World of Warcraft.

Don't feel bad. Neither did I. I don't know where the week went. I was hoping to spend more time during the day playing but I spent more time at work playing (which wasn't much).

Calling all PC gamers on here: I installed Plants vs Zombies on another PC. Can I copy my game files to another PC? I don't want to start all over again with PvZ.

I see no reason why not. Then again, I've never tried. Despite having it installed on three computers, my wife and I never hesitated to start the silly thing over again.

I've got a pretty full weekend ahead of me. There are games... just not too many video games. Tonight I've got DnD. This is our second game as a group. After several failed attempts to get together we've finally managed to do so. Saturday I have my nephew's second football game and Sunday there is a Seahawks game in Seattle that the in-laws are taking the wife and I to. Awful lot of football games this weekend. It's weird, I'm not even a football fan. Ah well, it's not bad, just different.

Don't you have it on Steam? It's Cloud there.

Metroid: Other M: the fake Samus'ing (as it is) is starting to annoy me. Though I do believe I am past the point of no return so I should bust the rest of the game out this weekend.

The Saboteur : Goofy, clunky, though I so like the color scheme in the "unliberated" zones.

Mass Effect 2...ya I said it. Again with the new DLC if they fixed all the issues. I coudn't install it last time(wouldn't find my game install space) I tried but i have a ticket open that got answered.

Playing around with my new powerline network. Just simply AMAZING. Just amazing. Plug that bitch in and internet everywhere in your home at wired or close to wired speed. My 360 happens to be in JUST the WRONG spot for wireless to get a strong signal but in a great spot for that.

And playing some Galactic Civ 2. I have fallen back in love with that.

For me, I will be completing my 2nd run-through of Crysis Warhead. Now that I have a beefier GPU and more ram, it's great to see this game running smooth with all the bells and whistles on. Still the best looking game I've played on PC:

Other than that, I will probably play some Team Fortress 2 throughout the weekend. It was a good random drop week for me, ended up with 2 new hats!

Probably not a lot for me this weekend. If anything, maybe a bit of Monday Night Combat or Dead Rising: CZ.

On the up side, if everything goes according to plan, I will most likely be proposing to my girlfriend tonight. I considered making my own thread, but it felt more fitting in here for some reason.
