Chances are most people will have a Light and a Dark side alt. From my experiences in the beta, the sith stories are a lot more compelling than the jedi ones. That may cause a fair swing more towards Siths, but don't worry, there will be coggers on both sides of the war.

I plan on playing a Light Side bounty hunter and a Dark Jedi. Not tried the latter yet, but I was very pleased how well the former was supported during my time in the beta.

I want to pre-order this. But my problem is I want the CE simply for the exclusive in-game store. I know it's cosmetic stuff, and probably recolors and stuff....but I really can't seem to let it go

...I hate exclusive stuff like this.

And of course, I can't find a copy anywhere

Grrrr...this really bugs me. I hate my need for this kinda stuff lol

I understand I suppose, but then wouldn't a single player game be just as good?

I don't hide away from other people and shoo them off my lawn! (much)

I get along just fine with text chat. It's easy to engage in or glance at or ignore as the situation warrants. Multiple people chirping directly into my ear is a lot harder to filter.

I can just imagine being in the middle of a cool little cutscene and hearing, "Shit, my cat just peed on my iPhone!" (or something far less amusing).

The trading and grouping systems function just fine without voice chat. I can see it being quite useful for PvP, raids or just hanging out while doing nothing, but I haven't decided if I want to do any of those things in this game.

Besides, I haven't trained myself to type via hunt n peck at about 80 words a minute just to waste that skill!!!

Mine is to use them when I can, and not stress not being able to use them when I can't.

For example I was asked to clarify its use with this guild because 4 of the people I asked to join have reasons they WONT be able to talk, many days while playing and 2 were going to join a different guild because they didn't want to piss anyone off if they couldn't talk.

Wife taking online school classes in same room.

So sometimes you would rather play than NOT but have to live with what ya got.
Even if its text chat I would still like to play with CoG'ers versus strangers if I could. Especially since HawkZombie is going to be playing and we can discuss Vegas plans during important plot points hahahaahaha
