I don't think anybody really cares enough about this game these days to follow it very closely. It's basically fallen off the radar in the news. You'd have to google to find any kind of real update. As far as I know, there are still no announced plans to go F2P. They may have started running an unlimited trial (similar to how WoW lets you play up to level 20). That's probably your best bet.

F2P isn't the same as an unlimited trial. I think Blizzard just started marketing their trial as free to play in order to grab some sales in that sector.

I knew this day would come and I'm glad I waited. I look forward to checking out the storylines at my own pace, without feeling the pressure of a subscription.

What server do you guys play on? I don't know how active I will be for the next few weeks since I'm still in school and going on vacation but it would be cool to play with some fellow CoGer's at some point in the future!

I would happily pick this up and give it a whirl now.

Give it two weeks though, and all the new games will start coming out, this will just get buried in peoples backlogs again.

Back from the dead!

The Free To Play option is now on the public test server. It looks like if you've ever paid for the game before, then you can try this for free.
